Transition Tagging Bell

Who we cut? If a ST plays then yes.

There is still a lot of time / answers that need to be addressed. One of them being..... If he even shows and what kind of shape he is in??? If that side of things are taken care of and we actually make it where he is a roster spot, then you decide. Maybe a running back or if BELL is a special teams ace, then possibly a STer. More than likely whomever it is will NOT be picked up on waivers should the need arrive to bring him back. As said, there is a lot of time to make that decision.

Are you underestimating the importance of chemistry on a team? You allow him in the locker room to stir up **** and create a fissure among the team? I don't.

There is nothing from Bell’s past that he has caused problems in the locker room or has been a chemistry killer. He was/will be welcomed by the players. But they know who is the starting RB at this time. Bell will have to be on board with that, since he made it happen. However, if Bell causes any distractions, by moping or whatever, that’s when he’s probably sent home with pay.

Yep at this point I don't see them releasing him so he could sign with another team that could hurt us. They probably just wouldn't give him a hat on Sundays. Batch was saying he doesn't know if the Rooney's would be fine with Bell not starting. At this point, I think the team would rebel if they decided to start Bell.

Charlie says the Rooneys wouldn't be fine if Bell didn't start? WTF. Why would they care? They want him starting in front of a hometown hero who is playing just as well or better. I really really find that hard to believe.

I agree...it is just what Batch was saying after the game when the subject came up.

This would not surprise me in the slightest, this group of Rooney’s couldn’t carry the jock of the earlier group. The current head of the team fits the mold of typical inherited businesses. 1st generation risks everything to start the business, 2nd generation works hard and expands it, 3rd generation gets it handed to them and then pisses it away.

I can't wait to hear the crowd when they announce Conner as the Starter, running out of the tunnel, at home, the game after Bell comes back on the sideline. It will be louder than any cheer Bell ever received.
