Trade Mason to the Cowboys now!

Virtually nothing to speak of in the backup department and Dak prescott will need surgery on his thumb or finger by the sounds of things…

Mason is probably the best available qb outside of Jimmy G, and his availability is questionable at best

Use the pick to trade for an olb…
 

I always miss the guys name up leighton vander ish? maybe him and a 5th for Mason​

 
Bush and Rudolph for Van Der Esch.

Yeah, it's funny. All the gnashing of teeth over Rudolph but all the sudden he's gonna bring the Steelers something. Why would the Cowboys do that? they could only muster 3 points with Zak last night.

Looks like they may have a similar problem as the Steelers...shakey OL. Rudolph doesn't really help with that. they are gonna have to depend on defense for a while.

I'd like to see Dallas offer a 2nd round pick for Rudy. A guy can hope.

Yeah you have a better chance of becoming a GM and the universe knows that isn't happening.

Well its Dallas. Anything can happen. They need a qb now and Rudy is better than what they have. As I said a guy can hope.

The Cowboys opted to only carry two QBs. Their backup is a 29 year old benchwarmer with 63 passes to his name in 5 years… they have nobody else but will grier on the practice squad who has 53 passes to his name… tgeir plan was for prescot not to get hurt….

Mason to the Cowboys for a 4th next year. Remind them that once J. Washington comes back, he and Mason will re-ignite their Oklahoma St. connection.

Seems to me that LVE is following another Dallas ILB as far as history goes (Sean Lee). Some good/great years mixed with serious injuries. I saw both good and bad out of LVE last night. And is he better than Bush at this point? (I can't believe I just typed that).
 
I do not think they will trade Mason. I think Tomlin keeps him here just in case. Now if the return is just too good but I don’t expect a big return for Mason.

Here’s a fair trade.

Dallas receives-
Mason Rudolph

Pittsburgh receives-
Tarell Basham OLB
2023 5th round pick

Basham isn’t TJ but I feel he’d compliment Malik Reed well. He plays the run extremely well and is a better pass rusher than given credit for. He’s injured so out 1-2 weeks. But trading Rudolph we can carry him no problem on the 53 man.

I would trade Bush for Spike Lee at this point
