This is since the merger in 1970. Even as much as the cheatriots have cheated for near 20years, they are still a ways back.

Drafting? There are many who post here who think otherwise and actually think they could do much better.

Not according to the “Tombert” believers. Tombert can’t do anything right.

Many have said the "DRAFT" is like a crap shoot. Sort of like the office lady who don't know **** about football and yet wins the pick-em contest.

Although I think there is much more to it than that but there are some here who would have a pretty good shot at a successful draft. I'm one of those who leaves that up to the team / experts but I still chime in along the way..............

Isn’t that the truth...I’ve been burned by the office pickem’ lady....often. Mainly due to the “colors of the uniforms” no less.

Steelers tweeted out this morning that this past season they set a team record for sacks and finished with the 5th overall defense.
A number of people tweeted back that it wasn't a good time to point that out after the defensive collapse in the playoff game.

Steelers - only 9 losing seasons since the merger in 1970.

That has got to be the best.

yep. to go further, only two, count 'em TWO, seasons of five wins or less since 1970. that's 48 seasons worth of football to this point, with only 2 years where the steelers were among THOSE teams, one of which was the very first year of post-merger play, 1970 (the other was 1988). incredible.

ADD all these alcolades up and add in the fact that the AFC North has always been a way above average COMPETATIVE devision to be in, not like the CHEATRIOTS sub devision, if you get my drift. Heck, even the "expansion" Jaguars we're tough righ out of the gate. Makes these fact all the more impressive.
