John Henry Johnson would rate, but he played before the AFL-NFL merger.

some of Frenchy Fuqua's game records were only just recently broken.

jus' sayin'.

Franco
Bettis
John Henry Johnson
Bell
Dick Hoak

#1- Franco
#2- Bus (only because he didn't start his career here)
#3- Bleier (dude had his foot blown off)
#4- Willie Parker (has the longest TD run in Super Bowl history)
#5- Barry Foster (was a short lived career but deserves to be recognized)

#6- Bell if he lays off the weed he could crack my top 5. He and Bam Morris are in the same ballpark lol

#1- Bettis... he's just bigger, better and more physical the Franco
#2- Franco...durable, reliable, just a rock solid player for the 70's dyanasty
#3- Parker....had a great 3 year run from 2005 to 2007
#4- Bell....although I agree it may be too soon
#5- Barry Foster...gotta admit I didn't get too see him play much (college years!)

I believe Fuqua was the also the first player to win a Super Bowl with two different teams (us and Dallas).

Leaving out John Henry Johnson and post-merger:
1. Franco Harris
2. Jerome Bettis
3. Barry Foster
4. LeVeon Bell
5. Willie Parker

That was Preston Pearson.

Franco
Bettis
Parker
Foster
Bell

On Franco, I think he'd be even better in the modern era. He caught over 300 balls in an era that really did not feature passing.

In a modern setting, he'd have more room to run and more opportunities as a pass catcher.

Pretty much my list too!!!!

Bam Moris had the potential but ended up out of the league, let's hope LeVion doesn't follow..............

Salute the nation
