Tomlin presser

Tomlin did say kicking tryouts this week. No details given though.
 
LMAO, there are going to be changes, but they may not be recognizable to the naked eye. That ranks right up there with smoke and mirrors.
 
He's not getting into the minutia...that pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with Tomlin.

If they felt like they needed Ben to win the game they were willing to use him...what was he watching that made him think we were in any position to win the game without Ben in the game? Dobbs was doing NOTHING. The problem with lying is that you have to keep lying, week in and week out.
 
Tomlin can't really explain his comment "rythem and flow" concerning leaving Dobbs in the game when asked. He's definitely testy that's for sure.
 
Yeah he is feeling some heat... terse and short no specifics in the areas he is getting fried on...
 
He was more worried about winning the series on the goal line then he was about worrying about the timeouts. What exactly do you pay a head coach for if they cannot manage all facets during a game.

The doctor was there if they were the slightest bit concerned, he would not be cleared.
Ben was cleared, could've played at any point, was willing to play at any point, Tomlin tried to finish it out with Dobbs.

Bottom line, Tomlin ******* blew it Sunday by staying with Dobbs when he had his franchise QB waiting to go back in. My God this has to resonate with Rooney.
 
I can't wait for the NFL to comment on the medical equipment that is in the stadium. I find it hard to believe in the NFL today that the medical equipment in any stadium is sub-standard. I don't buy that for one minute.
 
I get the feeling that Tomlin thinks he might be coaching for his job now.

I’m not sure how the shots work that they get but if he did have broken ribs, I would think that shot probably would not be very effective? If it is a bruise, muscle, or something of the sorts then the shot would kind of rule out the broken ribs.. I could be wrong.

The shots will pretty much numb anywhere they are used. With a cracked rib, you have to get the tip of the needle directly into the crack for it to be effective. After 10 minutes you will not feel any "pain" at the site, you will just feel "pressure" when you move that rib, it's similar to having a tooth pulled, you feel the pressure but not any pain. I had to have one in college when I broke a rib when I was HBP at the plate. Honestly, the shot itself hurt worse than the broken rib.

I used to work for a company that sold equipment to companies that print shirts and other things, the one company near me is licensed by the NFL to print stuff, the NFL sends people in there to inspect the equipment and work place. I find it hard that medical equipment wouldn't be up to standard.

Cope went over the shot issue in another thread. Likely muscle strain between the ribs. Will be indicative to how Ben is on the sideline this Sunday. Watch for him stretching.

Zero reason for Dobbs to keep hitting the field when Ben returned. None.
I'm not a Tomlin apologist, and will go out of my way to stir the ****, but that was inexcusable of him. As well as the non-replay on the Carrier catch. For ***** sake, Carr knew it wasn't a catch. Anytime the offense is running to start the next play, after a long pass, it's likely incomplete.

Incomplete + Incompetent = Steeler loss
 
As for the shot, what about the Cincy playoff game he got hurt in the second half, left the field and supposedly got a shot, he missed one possession.
