Tomlin Doesn’t Care; Players Taking Issue with Early Bye

It should have been handled differently but the league made the call and we will just have to deal with it.

Tomlin should thank the league for the easiest start to a schedule ever! Our opponents combined record is 1-11.

No illusions here, if Covid-19 plagues our opponent or the Steelers we are out of bye weeks. Then what?

I'll speculate, the NFL might have to shorten the schedule to 14 games, or possibly 12. We'll see. Either way we are in good shape with no key injures at 3-0.

If the NFL is willing to delay the playoffs to accommodate make-up games, I suppose the Steelers might get an additional bye week (or three) at some point later this season.

Someone posted saying the NFL is willing and prepared to postpone the playoffs to accommodate make-up games at the end of the season.

If they were to cancel games with some teams not playing a full 16 games season, I think divisions go out the window and the playoffs are the six best teams from each conference based on most wins regardless of games played.
