quack!

Not a good year for JuJu or James Conner

So what is the word around Pittsburgh on how Tomlin is treating Mason?? When he pulled him did not seem to be much communication from Tomlin on the sidelines> So are they just letting Mason hang out or is on the outside looking in or has the caches written him off completely?

I think it is the Duck's job to lose for the rest of the season. That doesn't really weigh in on Mason's future with the team which is really an unknown.

If Duck keeps winning...he keeps playing. Rudolph future is unknown.

Hodges will play until he turns the ball over and starts losing pro-duck-tivity... both of these guys were supposed to be at least a year or two away...

Here is the basic reality, hodges is a timing guy... his arm is mediocre so he has to make up for it with really good footwork. He makes early reads and fires it, ready or not... he is mayfield without the arm strength... that doesn’t mean he won’t have long term success, its just the few guys under 6’2 who didn’t have huge arms and made it.... so um... basically Brees... took about three years before he was able to avoid stupid plays.. and to build up his arm strength...

Rudolph is the opposite... that guy has a better arm but he is technically unsound too often... his arm isn’t exceptional like bens, but he still tries a lot of off balanced flat footed passed that are inaccurate and float
Add to that he was forcing plays by the end...

Its pretty easy to see how this plays out if tomlin keeps them both on a short leash... these guys need to be allowed to screw up and learn from it... my guess is hodges has one bad game and a half and he will be out too
Then we will see paxton lynch or some nonsense

Both of these guys have developable tools... pick one and stick with him at this point... if its Duck, its Duck... don’t be wishy washy
