TJ's having a lung issue - at the hospital.

If he got a nerve block shot for rib issue and it hit that lung, it collapsed most likely.

Can’t imagine wtf that recovery is.

Yeesh, the overnight probably means more concern; hopefully a bad needle didn't collapse his lung.

Didn't know he was injured and receiving treatment; might explain the less than normal stats/splash plays over the past few games.

Hope his recovery is quick and easy.

Rats, that's not a better guesstimate.
Hoping for another explanation with a better, quicker recovery
meh, he is ok when he is looking at gamefilm that shows the injury happen, but stuff like this he is purely speculating, lol.. espn is reporting that it happened when he went in for treatment, not that it was just detected then... also multiple media outlets are reporting the NFLPA is investigating... which wouldnt happen for a blood clot

Even I'd the nflpa investigates they will clear tomlin Of any wrongdoing. This is really bad. Tj is p!ssed.

Here is what is a known, everything else is rumor

Adam Schefter is reporting it happened while getting treatment in the training room
My new fear is that ifvhe was playing through ab undisclosed rib injury, the numbnuts medical and conditioning staff could have accidebtally puncured his lung giving him a pain shot

Sorry, speculation, like the rest of us here.

I think we are both hoping for the best.

DK has a pretty good segment on this today. It’s his Daily SHot Steelers

I’m no doctor, but in my mind, a blood clot could be suspected…..hoping and praying it’s not that.
But due to wear and tear and continued punishment on a human body, it seems that professional athletes are more inclined to deal with that …Unfortunately..

I think this is a very good possibility. That would put him out 3-4 months and season over for him.

I can’t remember the player but didn’t a Penguin’s player Just go through this currently.?

I’m thinking he is gone for the season.

I hope for the better and send blessings his way.

Yes, this is also the other possibility is a clot. Treatment is pretty much season over for Watt and quite possibly the offseason and mini camps if this were the case. You're talking about possible thrombolytics, blood thinners (particularly heparin). Possibly a chest tube if there is any injury such as a hemothorax or a pneumothorax (in these cases heparin or any blood thinners would not be used). There may be a small possibility of TJ playing if it is a small hemo/pneumo by the time the playoffs roll around (better if they make it out of the Wild Card round into the second round). No matter which way, it is a hell of a sh!t sandwich for TJ)
