TJ Watt.

4 games played.

18 tackles. Above average for an outside linebacker
3.0 sacks, well above average
1 interception, well above average
5 tackles for losses, well above average
3 passes defended, well above average.

Total splash plays….12 in 4 games, or 3 per game.

Extrapolated into 16 games played:

72 tackles
9 sacks
4 interceptions - I doubt he keeps this pace….
20 tackles for losses
12 passes defended

I believe we have the defensive rookie of the year. TJ Watt, great pick.

If he stays healthy, he's going to be a stud. Love the kid, his hustle, his attitude, his work ethic and his production.

The guy already is a good player. He'll learn and become an amazing player pretty quickly. One of the most exciting young players we've had in a long time.

He is a lot of fun to watch and is already one of my favorite players on the team. It isn't going to be long before he is the best defender on this team.

I bet he outplays his brother this year.

too soon?
