Good Lord!

Are the Sports writers for the Tribune Review that desperate for clicks that they would actually post such an article?

Tim, Aaron Rodgers is 37 NOT 27. Talking about signing him in 2022 to "replace BB" is NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to focus on the upcoming draft for a QB

Hell no. The dude is in his final years as it is. Start down the path of finding our next franchise QB and hope it doesn't take a couple decades this time.

I expect the roster to be pretty good next year. I cannot stand Aaron Rodgers, but I'm taking him 10/10 times over Rudolph or Haskins.
Not uncommon for elite QBs to get a ring on the way out. If Ben retired? We could do a helluva lot worse.

I'm disappointed that Benz is grabbing at this low-hanging fruit. Stupid.

And it looks as though it's gaining traction as John Clayton is now going on about it.

Has John Clayton gotten anything right about personnel moves?

Oh no doubt. It's just funny to me how these suckers hitch themselves to a bandwagon so quickly.

Has John Clayton gotten anything right about personnel moves? Just last week Clayton thought it was likely Nelson was returning to Pittsburgh and he promptly signed with the Eagles.
Clayton counts it as a win that he was in the right state.

It makes a ton of sense. Look at Brady in Tampa. If Rodgers plays next year, it will likely only be for a real SB contender. If Ben retires, the Steelers will be a a very good defense, with young offensive weapons. Perfect situation.

**** the future if you can get a trophy. You think Tampa fans give a **** that they didn't develop a QB of the future instead of signing Brady?

Signing Rodgers next year still doesn't stop you from drafting QB in Rd 1.

I believe he's engaged to the actress Shailene Woodley who starred in those Divergent movies. She may have more say in what team he picks. The Raiders could be attractive. Or maybe he takes the favre route and goes to Minn to screw the packers.

i like the cut a'yer jib.

RODGERS IN 2022! ...*ahem*...sorry, Ben. . .

The other problem with this type of "reporting" is it is a diversion that this team does NOT need.

We have an entirely new offensive line that needs to gel.

We need to sign Watt.

Focus on the players the Steelers have.

Rodgers is a d-bag. Listen to his press conference. He acted like letting guys like Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson walk was detrimental to the team. But none of the guys he mentioned did crap after they walked. That’s why he’s a QB and not a GM. And the reason they couldn’t bother attempting to sign guys on the downside of their careers was because of A-A-Rons contract. I hope the pack go 3-14 and Cobb has 15 receptions and Rodgers busts his collarbone again.

I had to laugh when Rodgers said he wanted to help recruit players like UFAs didn't know who Green Bay's QB was. Anyway, absolutely comical this guy didn't get lambasted by the media after that PC.

I live in Wisconsin and everyone hates him down deep but they recognize he’s a talent so they deal with his drama. He’s the anti Roethlisberger. Media and other teams lament him because of accusations in the beginning of his career. But since he’s been a model player, teammate, husband and father. One of the truly good players in the league. Rodgers hates Green Bay, hates his fans, is a single guy banging and dumping multiple women but the media glorifies him and celebrates him even though half the team can’t stand him. He divides the locker room with his guys and not his guys. They were him being flexible with his salary away from a couple more Super Bowls but he is me first.

I feel unlike Favre once Rodgers leaves the fans won’t welcome him back

I can see that especially hearing his unnecessary "Green Bay is not a vacation destination" shot he took.
