mock th mock

Randy Gregory OLB/DE Nebraska
Devin Smith WR OSU
Pittsburgh - Ifo Ekpre-Olomu CB Oregon

I gotta think that, if Gregory is there at 22, there will be trade opportunities. I take one of those.

22 CB Peters
2 OLB Harold
3 DT/DE Bennett

I think I'd Waynes is there at 14 we try to move up and get him...

I trade down for NO 1st & 2nd.

RD1.31- Pittsburgh – Owamagbe Odighizuwa DE UCLA
RD2.12- Pittsburgh – Eric Rowe DB Utah
RD2.24- Pittsburgh – Byron Jones CB Uconn
RD3.23- Pittsburgh - Jesse James TE Penn St

I'm good until James. This tight end class is weak and James is a clear Day 3 pick in my mind.

I just read those links to the sparq and some other production rankings. Bud Dupree looks like a fantastic player that would be worth getting, if available. He might have some trouble initially with the conversion but has only been playing both offense and defense through high school. Compares well based on the chart with JJ Watt which is a hell of a lot better than the jj we got. Also Shazier's sparq scores were 150 something so that is something by comparison.
Guys I would pick based on the numbers from the combined rankings:
Dupree
Odigyzuwa
Randy Gregory
Preston Smith
and as a late round pick Frank Clark, maybe our comp pick or seventh round, that way if he stinks the place up because of issues with behavior he gets cut loose and we don't loose much.

1. Gregory
2. PJ Williams
3. Ekpre-Olomu...but maybe Ali Marpet.

If Gregory is gone at 22, which I think he will be I would trade down to get an extra late 3rd rounder and draft Harold, or maybe Peters at 1.22.

To be honest...I think Dupree is our guy if he is there at #22. Needs coaching, but could be a nice player for us.
