He hits a ton, and made a nice interception. Im not sure how he would far in deep man or zone, but he's impressive enough closer to the line of scrimmage.

He should of attempted to fall on the fumble instead of scoop and score

Yeah one blip there but you have to love the playmaking ability there.

He is one of two free agent pick ups I think once the season ends, you will be left with a positive impression. With Haden being the other.

Jury is still out on ol McDonald and Sens and Hunter and T-rex..

Mike Mitchell dropped a sure interception at a crucial time, so there's that. ;(

And Davis still has not made a play on the ball in three games. Maybe Wilcox should play more?

Hey coach how about thread on Chickillo not holding the edge??

3. ANTHONY CHICKILLO IS NOT A RUN STOPPER.

The good and bad of Chickillo was on display when he was pressed into starting duty after a groin injury last week to rookie outside linebacker T.J. Watt.

Chickillo sacked Mike Glennon for a 10-yard loss, giving him a team-high and career-high three sacks for the season. Chickillo, however, looked out of place on the right side when it came to stopping the run. His sack of Glennon was Chickillo's only tackle in the game. This happened in spite of the Bears routinely running Jordan Howard to Chickillo's side of the defense.

Others share in the blame for the Bears rushing for 220 yards, but at times it looked like they were picking on Chickillo, and the Steelers had no answer.

Some might wonder why Harrison wasn't put into the game to help hold that edge. I know I am.

Apparently because they feel he is a liabilty in coverage. He cant run

Except one of the few times they put him in, he dropped into coverage???? I'm guessing that was Harrisons decision and not a coaches decision or play call?

Hey how about paying attention, I already ripped Tomlin and Butler for not playing Harrison more in place of Chickillo and moving men and the Safety up close to stop the Bears RB's and force the Bears QB to throw it outside.

Do you need me to point out where. Once again, I think Chickllo is a good back up who can start and produce at times, but he's no TJ Watt vs the run.

Um the Bear's top 3 pass catchers were RB's and the Steelers don't have to put Harrison in coverage. Next question.

Ive read it. They like the versatility of having two guys who can cover and drop and get to the proper depth points they need to be able to disguise coverages

And in man to man which we are playing more of who is going to cover RBs out the backfield. Sometimes the OLBs

That team sucked when it comes to passing. I doubt Harrison would have been a game changing liability if he dropped into coverage a few times. That team was hell bent on running. You put your best run stoppers in there in that case.

Reminded me so much of the Dallas game last year, Jarvis getting man handled by a TE as Elliot had a long to run to win it. Yesterday there's Chick getting man handled by their TE as their RB goes untouched to win the game, while your best run stuffing OLB is watching

b b but Tomlin doesn't substitute players based on bad play what coach does that?

lulz some of drews points are so ridiculous you hope he is trolling

because they are that ridiculous

See second part of the equation getting the depth needed to disguise the defense when in zone
I'm not against Harrison dropping into coverage here or there, but not this game, we were getting gashed and Glennon was doing nothing other than hitting the rb or the TE in the middle of the field. The TE nor RB were on Harrison's side.

And yet jarvis played that whole game and wasnt replaced until the next game. So again name a time a established starter was taken out the game and juggled in and out. Not counting the steelers established rotation. This year they said wanted to get away from the rotation so maybe thats why Harrison didnt play. I see both sides unlike you. Would love to see Harrison play but i also see the hesitancy to play him. And again the defense gave up 100 plus in the first half then only 34 on the second until the collapse. So when should they have inserted Harrison?

Should be but wasnt why because its not something coaches do. Like i said. And jarvis wasnt even established. Yet this convo started with players like Shazier. Who has been an established starter since his rookie season when healthy. Not sorry players. And you mentioned Ike. He was taken out and didnt play quite different what you are suggesting. He wasnt inserted back into the lineup the next game. Are you saying guys like shazier and Chick Dupree lose they jobs because like i said coaches dont just take out guys and put them back. FOH
