This team was just begging for its carelessness with the ball to cost them a game

Hopefully now that it actually did, they will focus on not turning the damn ball over so much. They have been careless all year and largely have gotten away with it. How we respond vs the Bolts should tell us a lot about how the rest of this season will go. It’s easier to stomach a loss knowing we were the better team but just “mistaked” our way to an L. It won’t get any easier from here on out. The schedule only gets harder. Clean up ball security and we’re better than almost every team out there.

Lol. How we respond vs the bolts...

When they're down 42-0 I doubt they'll be worried about turnovers

they have seven days to rectify protecting the ball. You can believe it will be a point of emphasis in practice. They should be a lot more focused with Rivers and Co coming here. One misstep or two and they could get blown out by the half.

Melvin Gordon hurt his knee today, he won't be playing next week. I don't get this fear of the Chargers? They're solid, but a lot of teams are solid.

I think this game made flaws visible. For whatever reason Denver didn't opt to run the ball but when they did we were not close to stopping them.

At the beginning of the season I believe my prediction was 9-7, which would have become 8-7-1 after the Cleveland tie since that was one of the games I figured as a win. I don't see anything in the remaining games to make me change my mind. Patriots and Saints are losses, plain and simple. Chargers, Bengals, and Raiders may give us two wins at most, which would make our final record 9-6-1 actually one better than I figured. We may still win the AFC North but we're one and done in the playoffs.

From having a chance at a home playoff game to we're done? LOL. I don't know what's wrong with Tuitt, but get his *** some antler spray already.

That is what you call the Tomlin special, because to Tomlin and the Steelers just making the playoffs is good enough.

I am thinking 10 - 5-1 at this point.

I am not even sure what the playoffs brings.

Wow you people kill me.

Same thing every year over and over and over and over and over again with this team. Win a bunch of games, lose to sub 500 teams, look unprepared for half of them. Mistakes galore, penalties galore, underachievement at its finest. This teams secondary is ****** if the pass rush doesn't get through. Any bum has a field day then.

If the objective is to win a championship all this bs needs to stop. ***** not going to happen by magic.

Again the Donkeys are not your typical “sub 500” team neither are the Ravens and maybe not even the Browns certainly not the chiefs. Lose to the Raiders and we will talk.

Turnovers are the only reason we got a loss today.

We put over 500 yards on them. Just the blocked field goal and Grimble getting his tampon knocked out on the goal line changed a blowout into a loss. It is what it is.
If they're true to form they will smoke the chargers next week. Lose to the raiders and beat the Pats*****the following week

Why do you think we are any better than "solid" ourselves? Look who we beat, and just barely most times.

I think I’d sit Washington for awhile. I don’t think the kid can catch a cold. With our running game sputtering we need all our receivers to catch the ball every once in awhile.

It took a -4 Turnover margin to lose this game. That ain't happening every week.

And -4 they were. And an L it became.

Just think what the Pats and NO will do to us.

By the way, your "Vegas knows what it's doing" proclamation didn't work out too well.

Lol, your *Pats squeaked out a win against the ******* Jets, get the **** out of here with your bullshit.

It’s the Tomlin effect

I'll say it again, when was the last time the defense or special teams won a game for us?

If we had 1 or 2 turnovers back from the defense, we likely win the game.

Blocked FG -3 points
Fumble at the goal - 7 points
Missing a wide open Washington - 7 points
Conner fumble - likely 3 or 7
Ben INT at the goal - 7 points.

That's at least 24 points off the board and a possible 27-31 points if you count the points missed after the conner fumble.

Game should have been a blowout.

so if we caused turnovers like their defense did we win? hmmm here is another way.... don't turn the ******* ball over! in particular don't turn the ball over on the 1 yard line twice.

the defense played well enough to win this game
