that you see a splash signing in free agency to improve our defense? The reason I ask is because next years team is just flat out loaded on offense and there is so much young talent that there is no way in hell they will be able to keep them all down the road. I think the Steelers realize this and will make a strong push to improve the defense through free agency and make a run for trophy #7. Thoughts?

don't know if splash but at least there should be one vet signing, besides Gay, for S or CB. I'd rather they bring one solid for each position (like Mike Mitchell) than going broke on one big FA.
They also need to address depth for LT (wether Beachum or another vet to compete). So this might be the year where they invest heavy but in complementing a true competitive roster to get that 7th

defense! A pass rush lb and any cb who can ***** slap and press the wr at the line. A free safety who can hit,blitz and cover would be nice. The biggest key? Being healthy in key places at the end of the season. Being all ****** up at the end of the season won't win ****.
