This team is only ready when they feel challenged

They obviously thought they'd walk into Baltimore and destroy them. This is a staple of Tomlin and I've been supporting the job he's done this season but this game is a bleak, depressing reminder of why he does not belong as our coach. He takes teams lightly, and the entire team came out cocky, unprepared, and thinking they were gonna walk through this game. You can count on THIS Steelers team to show up every time they "should" win on paper.

Honestly, even if we come back and win this one, which I still fully expect, I still believe this game should be the nail in Mike Tomlin's coffin. So much is riding on this game, and we are getting thoroughly outplayed by a bunch of reserves.

I can't stress this enough: **** Mike Tomlin. His team is embarrassing themselves on both sides of the ball because he has been thoroughly and painfully out coached. He thought we'd walk in there and beat them by 30. Surprise Mikey, the Ravens are still an NFL team and they're about to beat us.

Goodbye playoffs and goodbye Mike Tomlin. And no this isn't an emotional, reactionary response.

Unfortunately this does not surprise me at all, I expected this ****

Deep down, I did too. And that is why it is time to move on. We all saw this coming, deep down

Could not have said it better. We need a better leader to get this team over the top, because it sure as **** isnt gonna be coach numbnuts

They should feel challenged, Baltimore with a QB in town for a week is pushing them around with ease. Challenged they should feel they need to win to get in the playoffs, Being out coached, outplayed.

Aggie Steel I was thinking exactly the same thing as I watched this first half. This is so indicative of this team coached by Tomlin. How many times have we seen this over his tenure here where the team comes out flat against an inferior opponent.
Now you watch how he spins this if they lose today that man this is a division rival and this is always a difficult place to play. Meanwhile they have an off the street QB, lousy receivers, lousy rb's, and a so so defense. Typical Tomlin lead team.

I don't care how this game turns out. I'm done with him forever. I will never be duped by the games against the good teams where we show up, because we are constantly getting cocky and costing ourselves against teams that have NO business beating us. I'm done with Mike Tomlin and how anyone can watch this game and continue to support him, I have no idea

This is why I will never get duped into crawling on any bandwagon for this team. Ever.

You NEVER know what you are going to get out of them against inferior opponents.

Unfortunately we know what we are going to get out of them vs inferior teams

We allow the Ravens to get into our heads and were out played and really out coached.

Starting to think that it isn't that we have a particular problem against bad teams, and thinking it might just be random luck when a game plan works.

That is totally on Tomlin. He was interviewed on radio pre-game today, and was asked if he structured the team schedule on gameday. He said, just be at the stadium 2 hours prior to kick off. Maybe this team needs more structure. If so, doesn't sound like he's the man for the job.

team is only ready when they play backup abs fact. ben lost to every decent starter except carr keep pimping the choker

Tomlin's not going anywhere. Why kid ourselves? The Rooneys will point out that we were in this playoff race w/Ben missing 4 games, the toughest strength of schedule going in, Bell, Pouncey, etc out for the season, and on and on... Nothing in the past makes me think otherwise.

They came out and played cover two. The Steelers felt they could just run. Then they couldn't at least not to the point when they could score. That coupled with the third down defense it really shortened the game. Fucktards.

Win all season throwing the ball 40 times and they come out and try to establish the run this week. Just don't understand why they abandoned what got them here.

Yup. This is what I said in another thread. People need to stop kidding themselves if they think Tomlin is going anywhere. They will hype this season as somewhat successful given injuries, schedule, etc. Get ready for the propaganda.

One coach that hasn't impressed me...Butler...... He seems like he guessing out there.

Butler looks like a UPS driver. Maybe he should take up delivering packages and the Steelers bring in someone from the outside for a revamped defense. The team is running a 3-4 defense with an undersized linebacking group

they simply are not getting enough pressure on QBs

and with a secondary that struggles covering

a deadly combination that will sink a ship one way or another
