Jared Bernstein explains why the United States' printing unlimited money is not a problem:



He sounds like a student who got drunk the night before the oral quiz, did not study, shows up hungover and tries to bullshit his way through the exam. He has no idea - none, not a clue - as to how money supply works, debt works, or their effect on inflation.

And he gets paid a boatload of our tax dollars for his idiocy.

He doesn't even have a background in economics or finance. His degrees are in music and social work.

Timcast said this guy doesn't understand "modern monetary theory". That's not exactly correct, that IS modern monetary theory. If the government needs more money then they just print more money and there are no consequences.
