First of all hope everyone is safe and wishing all the best of health during our country's difficult time. I started watching the 2008 season on YouTube because like most I'm doing my duty and staying my butt in the house. It's great to watch the evolution of this team. Totally forgot Marvel Smith and Kendall Simmons were part of the Starting Oline to start the year. The injuries didnt stop there we lost Kiesel and Hampton for some time and were down to Mewelde Moore as the starting back after injuries to Parker and Mendenhall. That defense was unbelievable though all these guys in their prime running around fast and strong. Also noticed they played quite a bit of that 2-4-5 that alot of people hate lol. Not as much as now cause the game was different back then but they definitely used it alot.. Ben definitely earned his moniker of Big Ben. That Eagles game was brutal how he survived that physically and mentally is a testament to his toughness. Then the Ravens and Jaguars all back to back. The throw to Hines with the Jaguars DLine hanging all over him was unbelievable. Hines and Holmes what a duo. Can't forget Nate Washington too.

Here is the link if anybody is interested stay safe ladies and gents

I though Marvel and Simmons were long gone by then also, wow.
I believe at the time, they had the toughest schedule in NFL history, or something like that, maybe no history, but since they switch to 16 games or something along those lines.

It was the toughest schedule since the merger and wasn't even close to the second place one. NO easy street and on the road.

yeah, i remember when the season came out that 2008 spring, i checked it out online, sat back in my chair and thought, "hooollly ****! this schedule is brutal!!"

If you guys have time... which I guess we all do right now check out the season game by game. I didnt realize at the time how huge Nate Washngton was on that offense. And Mewelde Moore.. And despite having so many injuries we were down to out 4th CB at one point that defense was incredible. We definitely played the hardest schedule EVER. Except for maybe Cleveland and the Bengals every team was kicking *** or in the playoff hunt when we played them.

And the punting was terrible Berger got hurt and we bought in some guy he was kicking 30 yard punts for two games

And jesus christ I forgot Ben was carted off the field in the last game vs the Browns smh. Forgot about that heart attack

Watching the last 3 minutes of SB43. Why am I still sweatng bullets?

great link, thanks!

I watched the 4th quarter of the Cowboys game. Great comeback.

Any other suggestions, besides the AFCCG and the SB?

If you have time as each game has stuff that is made of legends................... (Seriously watch them all as in some form or another will you be amazed and as you watch down the season you will realize how special that team really was).

Who has that kind of time to watch all those games.... it's not like I'm stuck at home or anything.

I also remember going to a bar to watch that 2nd Ravens game. What a 4th quarter.

I was at that game. Almost turned over my tickets. That pick six by Gay turned the season around!! Big play failing that 4th and short conversion to start the 4th. The cowboys treated it like they won the game, the Steelers and Tomlin were pumped on the sidelines, he was letting his team know we're going for it every time, and that changed our demeanor in the 4th!
