Rocky and Simmons was my favorite. Some might not realize how difficult for a site to be able to snag interviews.I can't remember any site but here doing it... Mafia used to bring them to their events. I am one of the ones who never really listened to podcasts. But Cope has been knocking them out of the park. You all check some of them out when you get a chance.

Thanks Slash!

I have to agree with you on Rocky and Simmons. Both of them are insane fans of the Steelers, both are 100% open an honest to talk about anything. Both are also storytellers, so if they get on a roll, I just get out of their way!

Gradkowski was super smart and I am amazed that he watches every throw, every week, for PFF. He's really tapped into what it is to break down QBs. Great interview there!

Hoge and I go down a rabbit hole on health and wellness, but it was a fun conversation. He's passionate and knowledgable.

It's also fun getting to know the newer players. Everyone's path to the NFL is different, and I spend a lot of time getting to know each of their paths, because I really find that interesting.

Overall, the best interviews are when they are talking a lot more than I am. I'm glad that you guys are enjoying them. They take a lot of work to produce. I usually spend 1-3hrs researching and writing up questions, up to an hour on the phone, then up to an hour editing, formatting, and uploading the Podcast for listening. Not to mention some players that are not good at scheduling time, and waste a half day waiting on them, or sometimes have to bail on the interview completely. Still, I do it because I love it, and it's fun!

I also love getting ideas from the forum as well, the Ask Steeler Nation segment is always fun for the interviewees and a great way for us all to get involved! Thanks for your help guys, and keep the great questions coming!!

Cope, I for and a whole LOT of others appreciate your doing this as well. YOU draw a good interview and are modest to give credit to the interviewer. I get that and they do have a role but it also takes a good interviewer to get them rolling so that's your doing. TAKE the compliment buddy.

As mentioned the favorites but I liked them all and the younger up and coming players is a real treat as well.

Thanks again Cope
