This games means absolutely nothing to us in the overall scheme of things. lose to the rats and win out we still have the first seed. The only team that can catch us for the second seed is the Jags, and they have to win out if we just win the last two. So if I was the owner of the steelers not one single starter would be playing in prime time next week just to **** the ratings for the nfl. Plus I give my team sum rest for the pats game.

And before anyone roasts me, this would be no different then setting your players in week 17 with nothing to gain.

Yeah except if we lose this game and then beat the pats, we absolutely have to win out then. Winning every game here is important. Plus sitting players just for the pats game would be even more fuel for the pats to come here and kick our ***

I understand what you are saying but I am not even thinking about the pats game, I am just ******* sick of our team taking it up the *** by the league. When is enough going to be enough. I have been a steelers fan for close to fifty years not just the steelers but of football. I have played the game and my son has played, and I am just about to the point of trying to find another sport altogether. I remember a time it would take me a week to et over a loss, and if we missed the playoffs or lost a playoff game I would stew over it for a month, now it takes two minutes to get over any loss.

Yeah but usually even though I ******* hate the Ravens, we don't see the cheap shots we see vs Cincinnati.

Pick hockey by the way

Interesting strategy. Though we're going to play to win the game. We don't clinch our division until we win 1 more game. It would be even better clinching the division against the Ravens, who are still delusional in thinking their team has a chance in the playoffs.

Um, Yeahhh. **** that ridiculous nonsense. It's ratbirds week, which means it's all hands on deck

Steelers have major injury issues but the Ravens lost their corner and Alabama mlb isnt practicing with a neck injury. Might be able to get by here. We shall see. Defense is really due for an explosion of turnovers.

Well, as long as they lose 1 game before the playoffs starts i'm good. if they were to win out in the regular season. it will be 13 in a row just to get to the Super Bowl. 14 to win it. I don't like those odds. hell, as long as we get a Bye. i'll be happy. things have a way of working them self out. if it's meant to be played in Pittsburgh, it will. if not, we go beat them in there stadium.

Even them losing to us this week, they are virtually a lock to make the playoffs as the 6th seed. They have a pretty easy remaining schedule (us, Browns, Colts, Bengals), the other teams that are possible wild card teams (Chargers, Raiders, and Bills) have MUCH worse conference records. The Chargers might win their division forcing the Chiefs to fight for the wild card, but the Ravens still have a leg up on them. I would be shocked if the Ravens aren't the 6th seed come playoff time.

After all these years,....why would you think that would change. The rats have always had that delusion, COPE with it.......................HHHHaaahaha

Sorry warrior, we play to win, each and every week. The game against the bungles seem to have proved that. To early to be sitting just to be sitting as it puts pressure on the team when they may be able to eliminate some of that pressure, here and now.

Nothing is officially clinched... not even the division... so you absolutely play hard in this one... lose this and, say, the away houston game ...and its just as bad as losing the ne game...

A win here clinches the division + playoffs. Tennessee is at Arizona and Jax plays Seattle, if they lose, that almost guarantees a bye.

You start “playing not to lose,” and you’re screwed. Take care of business then you can talk about resting. What if we “rested” this game, lost to the Pats (a real possibility), then laid an egg on the road to an inferior Houston team (yeah, I know that would be a first).

Then you go into your “bye week,” against Cleveland in a “must win” situation. I’ll pass on that drama.

What you are forgetting is that we should easily beat Houston, so we will need Bos to bail us out at the end or find a way to lose that game.

Absolutely garbage post, warriors. You're better than that

Warriors is just pissed, this isn't even football anymore. I view this suspension as just one more way the league controls the outcome of the games. Why would a first time offender get suspended for at best a questionable call yet a repeat offender that launched himself not once but twice at the same receiver in the same game not get suspended? By giving that POS a 200 million contract the owners just doubled down on the fact that they don't give two ***** about the game or the fans anymore, it is nothing but money. How in the **** can the Rooney's continue to stand up for this *******.

I remember a time not so long ago that other than the Mara's owning a small percent of the team we were only owned by the Rooney's, now we have what 300 different silent partners, and who was responsible for that? ******* Goodell might as well made the Rooney's turn the team into the packers. I am sick of our owners sitting by and letting Goodell stick it in our assess as deep as he wants. Art senior must be spinning in his grave.
