The other players lost more tournaments than I won--
Paraphrase of Jack Nicklaus philosophy of winning.
Divisional Round: Very tough. This is where this philosophy is put to the test. Likely you play Jacksonville. They are significantly better than Buffalo who is just happy to get in. Patience is the key. Matchup man to man. Wideouts erased. Limit the run and slow the TE. Above all else, Ben needs to play smart. Make Jax play the long field. Their QB is Boller 2.0. Make him win the game. Safe plays. Limit turnovers.
Conference round: I think KC plays the cheats in the divisional. They have the formula. Could be interesting. Assuming the Pats win comes down to this. The Steelers are better at Oline, Dline, Corner, significantly better at Running back and wide receiver. Edge to the Pats at QB, Safety and TE. Commit to the run and double the TE (taking away their lone matchup edge) man up wr and make them beat you there. Good little add ons but I really like the Steelers Corners here. Dont zone. Man.

Best case for us would be to have buffalo upset jville. I think it is possible buffalo has a good defense. Losing mccoy will hurt them big-time though. That would send buffalo to NE and more than likely KC to us. The teams i wanted us to avoid were jville, ravens, and chargers (Not counting NE). KC has been playing better lately, but we seem to do well against them. It will be tough if they follow NEs plan and just chuck it to Kelce, but hopefully the Steelers learned how to cover a TE. Hopefully all this will set up another showdown with NE. Hopefully if we play NE both teams will be at 100%.

I didn't want Rats and Chargers in either. However, they also would have been problems for NE. Now, only Chiefs are their threat. I can see the Jags getting bounced by the Bills because the Bills have zero pressure on them, and the Jags have not been playing well for two weeks. Titans though, I just dont see how they can advance.

Buffalo is a feel good story. They will be lucky to get three field goals against the Jags defense. Bortles would have to have a complete meltdown to lose that game.

I like to play JAX, They are not playing well. Bortles is at QB.
Game one - there were so many fluky plays and the snowball got to big in the second half. Plus our O was not performing.
We would be so motivated for this rematch, I assume.
KC scares me a bit as the last few march-ups have been close.

I'd like to see KC or Tennessee upset the Cheats. But Al Riveron will have none of it.
Bills, Jags; one game at a time. The NFL and Vegas are hedging a Steelers- Cheats AFCCG.
Watch and be amazed at how it goes down.

That's a worse case scenario. Why send a tough KC team here, and let the Cheats get a bye vs Buffalo?

Exactly.

The Chiefs might have the right match-ups to bounce the *pats, then they'd have to go to Pitt. While anything can happen at any time, Steelers seem to play KC well. The Jags in Pitt in January would be different than what we saw last time (I hope).

Because what is our record vs KC? Also jacksonville spanked us earlier and have given us trouble in the past. Buffalo can also play NE tough.

I guess I'd be the only one not thrilled with a Jax matchup.

Seems that no matter how good we are or bad they are, they always play us tough.

It's very simple....no mercy on Brady this time. Make him hit the ground...that cold hard ground and make him watch from the sidelines.

I could care less who we do or do NOT side step. We will play what is put infront of us and BEAT them silly. Why suddenly scared??? The Jaguars Had to many fluke plays and we have progressed as a team since then. I see a 12-16point difference in that game, then the Chiefs or cheaters and believe me, you'll see a whole new level. CHEATERS won't win and uncle al will try but STEELERS will be just to much. If we play in shitsborro, we have a punchers chance and with each punch we will grow stronger and stronger. Us by 8-12

Salute the nation

I know Jacksonville is the only team to win 2 games in one season in Heinz field not named the Steelers.

Last year we lost embarrassingly to Miami in the regular season, and had no trouble with the rematch.

I like our chances when our guys feel the need to prove themselves

Steelers are 23-11 all time against the Chefs, but more importantly, they are 4-1 against Andy Reid's Chefs. And the loss was with Landry Jones at QB.

They will be a tough out. The one team that is significantly more physical than the Steelers.

Fun facts: The last time the Chiefs won a playoff game at home was 1993 - Joe Montana was QB

Too bad the blizzard didn't wait a day or two - I demand entertainment in the playoffs

There is a fairly good blueprint there. Take care of the ball a punt isnt necassarily bad. Make them play the long field and wait for the mistakes. You should be able to load up against the run and man their wides.
Above all else stay patient and run the ball.

Ahhhh, the old bounce pass on 4th down. Thanks for opening that wound.

We want upsets, me thinks - Jags tickets are still available cheap, they opened up the tarp seats - Supe should buy me one and we'll go watch them
