This team is missing two of its biggest playmakers and they had their way woth SF's defense. Goodness this offense has the potential to be something incredibly special. They scored when they wanted to today. Period. They could have scored 60 if they wanted to.

It was frustrating to watch them go into turtle mode in the second half. The moment they decided to turn it on , they scored again. DHB did a great job stretching the field and as you mentioned, it will only get better when Bell and Bryant return, then Pouncey later.

I know it is only week 2, but who else scares you out there in the AFC. I say that we are easily top 3 in the AFC...

Bell's safety valve routes from the backfield are HUGE....just adds another dimension to the offense. Williams had 4 snags with one drop but only averaged 3.8yds a catch. Add the big boy Bryant....holy ****!

If you want to know who, outside of injury, can stop this offense, I can come up with two names- Mike Tomlin and Todd haley... they let it rip and we should win many games by double digits

Just posted in the other thread but when Bryant gets back, Ben will have AB, Wheaton, Bryant, DHB, Bell and Heath to play pitch and catch with all game long. Our passing game should be unstoppable.

The offensive line did a great job! And the real difference is we converted red zone attempts into TDs. Now we just need Scobee to get his act together man!

The only ones that scare me are, the officials and who controls them.

Scobee scares me. That kick that hit the upright was brutal to watch as a fan

The next one nearly missed too. Good thing they got the 2 point conversion plays working.

Go figure that he was one of the more dependable kickers in the league and he can't convert on the easy attempts.

You're right. Me and my dad were laughing at the next kick. My heart stopped there too I think

I did expect them to score 40+ points let alone win the game. A nice surprise indeed. But consistency has not been the offenses strong suit. The offense has to carry this team (obviously). It's going to be fun seeing if they can.

I hope we gauge the Hell out of the Ravens in week 4. I'd love to put up 40+ on their ***** on primetime. Their D looked weak and with our potential, it should be an eventful game.

That is one of those games where you want the Steelers to go no-huddle and dictate the tempo when they are on offense. San Francisco couldn't stop them today when Ben took command and I doubt many teams can.

Derek Freaking Carr toasted them for 350 yards and 3 TDs, one on a last minute game winning drive.....

Second game. Which offense is it? Today's, or last week's?

With T-sizzle fizziled, their "D" isn't quite so bad. Today, they didn't do squat. Oakland's offense made minc bird sausage out of them. But it's one week at a time, two games in and we've seen two headed dog, which head will we see in a consistant form???? Our offense will just keep getting better and better, barring injury.

Salute the nation

Not too mention getting our pro bowl center back to open up even huger (if that's even a word) holes for the running game and give Ben even more time to pick apart defenses at will... just going to be amazing.

Scobee better figure it out because we will need him in more than one game before the end of the season. If he keeps screwing up over the next week or two, I look at the next best option because he is unreliable.

Without Thuggs, and Ngata, the Rats defense is now a shell of the dominating unit they were with those two, plus Reed, and the Stabbinkillerman.

The Ravens aren't contenders anymore. I think the Steelers can have their number this season as long as they don't give Baltimore too much respect. I understand respect to a degree out of passion for the rivalry. But you should go into every game wanting to dominate those dirty birds.

The offense is loaded with crazy talent. And found their identity. I just want the Steelers defense to build upon yesterdays win and get better. To which they can, it's just a matter of will they?

Frankly i dont give a damn about his scoring... I simply want him to make every kick unreturnable. anyone notice they lost yardage bringing out his deep kickoffs a half dozen times, not even making it to the 20? id say what he saves us in them scoring is going to outperform what he misses in field goals and xps... hell unless we absolutely need it we shouldnt even bother with xps...just go for two and if its even close to a first down on 4th go for it... we will score more that way than worthless field goals anyhow

Tomlin, like Cowher before him, plays too conservative vs the Ravens and Pats...
