The sad thing is that it took an injury to get Jones in there. Vicks play could not get any worse. The only positive was he didn't turn the ball over. Maybe that was why he has not done well. Just trying not to hurt the team.
 
Bryant had a nice game...our defense did a hell of a job also. Just a great TEAM victory.

Yeah, and add in the defense that actually kept us in the game. Entire team MVP if you ask me.
 
This defense kept Palmer in check. They allowed the yards in-between the 20's and tightened up when they needed it, got a couple of sacks and even turnovers.
 
Landry Jones...game MVP! Coming off the bench ice cold...never having taken an NFL snap in a regular season game and he leads us on five scoring drives including 2 TD's. Great Job Landry! I think the Steeler Nation is going to love Landry's Pedigree! OBVIOUSLY!:towel:
 
Maybe Carson Palmer should be the MVP for the Steelers.

Agreed. D held their own while Vick was under center. Landry opened up the playbook more which allowed the D to rest. Good win. Happy for the week
 
Cam Heyward should be in the running.

I'm sure Landry has a better understanding with the playbook more so than Vick. He should get the nod at qb here on out until Ben gets better

I know Aikman and Buck sure didn't. All they could talk about was how the Cardinals will be kicking themselves because they didn't put the Steelers away in the first half. They didn't put them away because the defense didn't let them put them away. No credit at all to the defense for keeping them out of the endzone.
 
Villanueva ... Not only did the OL not miss a beat with him in there ... it may have played better. There was certainly less pressure. Did he receive TE help?

I would figure the same but I wouldn't bet money on it if Vick is healthy. Tomlin makes a lot of decisions from the gut. So you just never know.
 
Bryant caught 6 passes...2 of those were scores....If you look at his catch-TD ratio its about 3:1 he catches a TD just about every 3rd or 4th catch. Bryant was a game changer....Tomlin talks about pedigrees and splash plays ? Well there you have it.......1st game back and he was the spark this team needed. Way to impact a ****** game kid....impressive and now the league takes notice of what this offense can do.

Ben, Bell, Brown and Bryant......That ****** B' Assault doin damage.....

Wallace had the same catch TD ratio I believe but boy are they too different types of WR. Even with his pot fiasco I try to keep this young man past his rookie deal. Hopefully he has matured and learned from the whole thing. That is all you can hope from him at this point. He is just a game changer.
 
this offense is a different team with bryant in there. man i hope he can stay clean, and be a future HOFer. In his short career with Ben (or even Landry!!) as his QB, we could have a HOF threesome... scary good
 
Underrated play of the game Berry's big punt right before the half. Changed field position and didn't give Peterson a chance for a return. The Cardinals had a chance at points
