2009. Season after SB XLIII. I was kinda surprised that there was a season in Ben's tenure where they lost both games in Ohio cause he has played so well there. I'm obviously not feeling too good about this weekend. No Juju, No Conner. Pretty tough.

There I fixed it fer ya

not a Tomlin fan, but his best coaching has been this year.

For next week.. the last time the Clowns swept the Steelers. 1988

If Tomlin gets to 8-8, he will be regarded by management as a hero. Truth is when talent on both sides is equal, Tomlin will usually be out coached and lose. In fact, when talent on the other side is less, Tomlin will still lose far too many times. Face it, we will have Tomlin long after Ben is gone and 8-8 will be good enough for the ownership we have.

Correct. Tomlin will be hailed as having a great season because of all the injuries. But the fact is that the Steelers have played lots of horrible teams and teams with new coaching staffs. As well as teams with as many injuries. The few good teams we've faced we've played well against. But that's the NFL the bungles played the Seachickens well too on the road. Should have won that game. Fact is Tomlin can't get this team over the hump.

MT was just out coached by Freddie freakin' Kitchens. While he's had some positive moments this season, there's still the MT moments that make you slap your face.

I give the coaches a pass last week. The Browns refused to expose themselves to a disastrous play on offense and the offense couldn't do anything with the injuries. And regardless of what we think and what the final record is, the ownership will give the staff a pass this hole season. And if they get to 8-8 it will be heralded as a great season for Tomlin.

Sorry, but the offense is a dumpster fire and the defense SHOULD be great, they only have 9 first round draft picks out there. Great coaching is getting guys to play above their abilities, to find schemes and systems that fit your players abilities. If anything. Colbert deserves a round of applause for finding a way within the cap to put that many first round draft picks on the field at one time.

Dan Bylsma... came in, won a championship with the penguins right away, then blew things in the playoffs over and over... fans called him a great coach... his regular season record was amazing, and when his teams had huge injuries he got more out of scrubs than anybody

Yet a lot of hockey minds kept whispering that his zone breakouts were a mess, that he catered to scrub vets over dynamic talent, and that his team lacked structure and won based on talent more often than not... the pens finally fired him... he immediately got hired in buffalo, where he was exposed as a b grade coach who didn’t deserve his rep...

I politely disagree. As far as I know they've beaten 1 team with a winning record, perhaps 2. They've lost every other game to any team over .500 and they've lost a game (again) to a team with an even lower winning percentage than they have.

This is CLASSIC Mike Tomlin. Crawl, claw and luck his way to 8-8 and bask in the glory of his consistency.

It's not that I don't believe Tomlin will get the Steelers at least to 8-8, it's that I very strongly believe that's just about the very best he can do. They guy lives in a ******* hobbit house. High floor, low ceiling.

JuJu would have likely had at least one catch. I'm not sure whether anyone else on our roster can step up & fill that void.
