The Browns are Currently Managing a Covid Outbreak

This is 2 straight days of positive tests from the Browns. They shut down the facility yesterday, then reopened for practice. Now they shut down again today. I will not be surprised to see more positive tests this week.

Going to be very interesting since the league can't have games past Sunday this week with the playoffs starting. Either have to add a week and not give us a bye, or force a forfeit.

I'm also past this bullshit clause of not paying a team on a forfeit. The league put this in to save their ***** if they were canceling weeks. These are isolated teams. You can punish the team with the outbreak by not paying them, but the other team should get full pay.

Just what's a Cleveland Brown?!

I don't know if it is true,
But I think I've heard a theory;
That Cleveland named its team
After the color of Lake Erie.

Brown does not describe
A big and strong athletic man.
It's what's inside the diaper
Of a baby Steeler's fan.

The guy who named this football team
Must be the Cleveland clown
Who else would think to call
A football warrior a Brown!!

If I'd been born in Cleveland
And there my life was spent,
I'd find another team to cheer
From pure embarrassment.

I myself, have always loved
The Steelers Black and Gold.
I did when I was very young,
And I will when I am old.

But why's this name an adjective
When it should be a noun?
Can anybody tell me

Haha. Very clever. Brown like the ads for earwax on this message board. How do they know I have problems with earwax. Glad ED ads don't come up. As I definitely have no trouble with that.

Adding another week? For one game and every other team get a bye and KC 2 weeks? Doubt that will happen. They should play no matter what and field a team. Also doesn’t look like any big names ie RB Lamar Jackson causing all kinda reschedule issues, all WR are back from tracings

Again they should just cancel the game... it increases our odds for the 2 pick, gives us rest, and honestly unless all the teams competing with the browns win, the Browns get in too
 
I worry more about the Browns transmitting the C-19 to our players. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the brown players miraculasly become POSITIVE after the game.

Never any doubt... the thing is the positive tests today wont be available for the playoffs in a week so honestly cancelling the game and not risking any more spread is probably the humane thing to do... the Browns probably have a higher probability of making the playoffs without this game than playing it shorthanded and losing

Stifle yourself, Edith. Theyre playing the game on Sunday, period.

The league will also skewer the lab results of the Chinese flue as well. Won't surprise me at all that some of their players will be playing with it.
