I think he said that about the 3rd down play...this was the 1st down play and I remember him saying that his feet crossed the line but not the ball....

good .10 yards short

Timmons might be the hardest man on the team. While not exactly in Webster, Lloyd or a prime James Harrison class, he is a certified tough guy and bad @ss in my book. Very durable, plays the game the way it is meant to be played.

Great hit!!! Wow

Yeah he really stuffed him. That was solid. I thought for sure he was going into the endzone.

man on man and Timmons showed him who is da boss. biotch.

Textbook hit. Coaches should have that play on loop.

I Remeber Troy Polomalo saying that TIMMONS has the fastest closing speed on the team. I took that as a great compliment directed to Timmons.

Salute the nation

But he wears a 7 7/8 fitted ball cap...

This is strange, I seem to remember being told on this very board that Woodley was the good pick, and Timmons was the bust. Drafted to early, not playing the position he was drafter for, overruns every play, always hurt.

Strange how all that bullshit is just that now, bullshit, and Woodley is sitting on his nuts somewhere while Timmons continues to play damn near every ******* down for this team.

That stems from Woodley starting in his second year while it took 3 years for Timmons to start. In the short term, those people were right. In the long term, as they were proven wrong, they took it out on Timmons.

Well, there's your mistake right there, Cope.

You don't wait years to judge a draft pick - you pass judgment the millisecond the commish reads his name!! D'uh, we all know this!!

you watch college tape, and then 3 practices at first mini-cap. That's all a seasoned talent scout needs.

Who did Woodley replace? Timmons replaced Foote/Farrior?

Clark Haggins.

There is a faction of people of here that, when they don't like a draft pick, will never admit they were wrong and will bash that player no matter how well he plays. They are silent now, but once TImmons has a bad game they will start up with it again.

Did anyone else see Timmons on the Bungles last drive grab the guard, pick him up, and THROW him out of his way to get to Dalton on a second and long rush? Guy is a beast still ten years in. One of the best middle LB they've had. I'd put him in there with Kirkland. Imagine a 3-4 with the two of them in the middle. Scary.

And the 2008 Harrison, and 1994 Lloyd on the outside??

Quarterbacks would be cutting themselves in the locker room to avoid playing.
