Texans vs Titans

I believe if we win 2 of 3 we clinch.
Or, if we win 1 of 3 and **** drop one to either the Saints next week or Texans closing week.

I like our chances, but a win tonight and one next week would be best...should gives us a chance to rest people the final week.

If we only win one of three, we'd need the Titans to lose to Houston. If they lost to NO, but beat Houston, we'd then be tied for conference record. It then goes to strength of victory, and they kill us there.

Thanks. I only did a quick glance and not a complete review.

Not quite true. We could beat the bills and lose to Jets and Ravens. Tennessee could lose to saint and bear Houston and Houston could win next week and Houston wins division and we beat Tennessee with common opponents ....bills would be the difference (they lost to the bills and we currently both have a 3-1 record against common opponents already both played. Chargers Indy browns and they list to bills already

Also if common opponent records are the same it's not strength of schedule as the next tie breaker it's strength of victory. Tennessee doesn't kill us in strength of schedule. In fact we currently have a better strength of schedule than they do. Where they kill us in strength of victory. So if we lost to the bills beat the jets list to Ravens and Tennessee lost to the saints but beat the Texans and Houston won next week, Houston would win the division, and Tennessee would have the same record, same conference record and same exact common opponent record but their strength of victory tie breaker would get them in .....all entirely possible. Winning tonight doesn't clinch it for us but at that point Houston would have to beat both saints and Houston and we'd have to lose to Jets and Ravens.

Comes down to

1) Win two of three
2) Beat Bills and Tennessee loses one more
3) Beat Jets and Tennessee loses to Houston

That's pretty much the playoff picture I believe

Problem now is it's looking more like that game will be meaningless for Houston, except perhaps for seeding.

They’d definitely rather play us than the Bills. So they would have that to play for still.
