Texans fear Deshaun Watson tore ACL during practice

Can't overlook anyone, but the Rats and Pats are the two toughest tests on the remainder of the schedule. Seems like we split with the Hairballs and with NE, just our Kryptonite. Got to go run the table and take the AFC. It's very possible, but have to beat NE.

Feel bad for Watsom. Hope he recovers quickly and can get back to where he was. A great talent!

I agree but I think wew beat them both, in season and in play offs. Our team is continuing it's growth cycle and I'm still hoping near week twelve we hit on all cylinders including a Mr. (unselfish) Bryant.

Feel bad for Watson, but it is what it is. And I wouldn't automatically put a W in the column just yet.

As far as the P*t's*** go, just take care of business and beat these ********.

Too lazy to look it up, but just how many wild card teams have come out of the AFC East since Bwady has been there?

As I agree with you, I am certainly hesitant because we could beat NE and lose to the Bungals or Packers. It's how this team manages to do the opposite what we expect. We really should beat NE(and BAL). The confidence would be monumental going into the PO.

Sucks to see but the game doesn't stop for anyone.

I'm definitely not counting chickens. We have a tendency to make back-up QB's look like Joe Montana. I've lost count of how many have torched us in the past.

As far as the Pat's, I don't care if we beat them during the season or not, as long as we beat them when it counts.

apparently the Texans are going with Tom Savage as their QB.

looks like Kaep isn't being signed in "10 days" like his agent said.

Mike Garafolo‏Verified account @MikeGarafolo

Texans QB DeShaun Watson has a confirmed torn ACL, source says. So the team's fears that @RapSheet reported are confirmed.

---------------

NOW who's going to beat the Pats for us?

Kansas City

You mean like that SanDiego kid we just played,............Made him look like Joe Montana but just out of curiosity.... How did that turn out for him??? The point I'm making is this isn't your average STEELERS team of the past. Wince if you want and if by chance the STEELERS lose a game you can come back here and say "I TOLD YOU SO"....... Nonethe the less I'm showing this PITTSBUrGH STEELERS team the respect they have earned to this point. 6 - N - 2 not bad for a bunch of Joe Montana opponents.

We're 6-2, but I'm not convinced we're a "different Steeler" team yet. We've underachieved. Yes we beat KC, but we lost to Chicago and Jacksonville. We could have very easily have lost to Detroit. Cleveland wasn't exactly a cake walk. So we had fairly convincing wins against Baltimore and Minnesota.

I'm still very much hopeful. I'm just saying that we have been inconsistent, like in the past. Our record just doesn't show it. The nice thing is we tend to play well in the 2nd half of the season.

My guess is we'll finish 12-4, or 11-5. 12-4 will probably give us a #1 or #2 seed. 11-5 will probably have us hosting a WC game.

Just keeping it real. [emoji846]

I, for one, care **** all if we beat the *''s or not in the regular season. The goal is to win enough games to get in the playoffs.

Somewhat

but win or lose they have to gain confidence for a potential playoff rematch.

Many goals but the ultimate one ends with a trophy. And to obtain that the confidence level has to be where they can beat anyone.

Then of course go in and execute.

No worries. Keeping it real by your expectation would mean we need to run a perfect table. 6-2 is underachieving ???? Hmmmm. Can the STEELERS play better,.....hell yea but look at the Eagles at 7-1 can they play better.......hell yea. This is football and I see improvement of our OFFENSE and improvement of our DEFENSE we are getting better. Look at KC threy started out HOT but not so much lately. I'm extremely happy with our steelers because we haven't peaked and closer to playoff time (week 12) is optimal peaking time. Sure we have some question marks but who doesn't. This STEELERS team is the best one on the field today and if you look back 5 years, this one is still tops. We go as far as Ben Rothesberger goes but it would be nice if a Mr. Bryant would show up in a NON-selfish team player mode too. I'm NOT looking to convince you of anything but yet it seems you have pretty high expectations for this team, enjoy the ride as it has BEEN A GREAT ONE thus far.

I think the offense is under achieving. The D and ST seem to be overachieving, so that is helping. The only games we lost is the D **** the bed in OT, and Ben spotted 2 TDs to another team. So far, we only seem to be beating ourselves.
