If the Vikings decide to stick with Bradford/Keenum under center, do you entertain the thought of bringing him in to back-up Ben for a year or two and then turning the car over to him? Assuming that he clears the physical.

I get the feeling they felt they won in spite of Keenum. They will dump Bradford and Bridgewater will compete at camp.

I would take Keenum ahead of Bridgewater.

They're all free agents. Bridgewater would have to be on a one-year prove it deal with some team like Cleveland. In my opinion anyway. I'm sure he wants to start now. He isn't getting any younger and already lost two years.

Steelers will never sign any of them, way too many teams need starting QBs and all three will want to be starters, not back-ups

I can see him wanting to start, but where at? Buffalo, Cleveland...etc. I would think the reality of taking over the Steelers offense in 2 years might be just as attractive as starting now for a team with no chance at post season success.

We aren't gonna have any money to pay a back up QB. We're already projected over the cap.

He isn't gonna sign cheap long term.

They probably give a guy like Sloter a chance to compete for the starting job, sign Bradford again and roll that dice. I don't see them getting rid of everyone since they have a solid roster, so why bring in someone new to learn the playbook? They also get D Cook back, which will really add solid starter/depth to their backfield.

I believe we still have Jones who we just extended last off season. So there is zero chance of us bringing in another back up(#2) QB. Now if we are playing pretend as you seem to like to do all the time. Then no. I still don't bring him in.

Bradford gets hurt putting on his jersey. If Bridgewater can run a sneak, bring him in.

Maybe. Bridgewater is going to be rusty. He’s got the legs of a new born deer. Can be stay healthy? I do not think he will start anywhere. Might be able to get him for 2-3 million a year.

Jones has improved a little. I think he’s still a disaster waiting to happen. But as a passer with good blocking he can execute.

His numbers were equivalent to Blake Bortles and Bortles played significantly better in the playoffs. Keenum was a fluke throw from losing in tge divisional. Bortles played good enough to beat the Pats

Uh, yeah, in the first 2 quarters. Once the pats put pressure on him and stopped allowing the easy stuff, he was back to his craptastic norm

LOL yes, because everything that you talk about is being directly implemented by the Steelers front office and has so much more bearing. It is called an internet message board for a reason. I didn't realize that bringing in a competent QB to back up Ben would be such a "pretend" subject. Especially seeing what has transpired in Minnesota and Philly this year. I am sure that Jones or Dobbs could do an equal job...

Bridgewater will only go to a place where he has a decent shot at starting. Maybe Washington or Arizona.
