Normally I don’t care about PS call ups, but this one is curious indeed

Everyone figured we were just gonna promote Walker at ILB, but instead we are trying out a former Packers seventh round pick… who was converted from a big safety to an ILB this spring…
He is probably going to be the backup in passing situations, in case Alexander gets hurt..

Typically you don’t see a position conversion up over a vet this quick… I’m not sure if it’s ability based or familiarity based, since he was on the Pack till the start of the season

This also makes sense about all the Safety try outs this week… if they decide to retain him, they might want another hybrid type on the PS

I just don't see the leadership of this team asking a former player to give up information on their former team. If anyone does, it would be the players on the sidelines.

I just don't see it.

There is a lot of things I’m not seeing this leadership, top to bottom, doing.

I do see a 5-3 record, but totally non-sustainable if they rely on the same methods for the win.

Man I had to look up who this guy was. Back in the day I knew every single thing about the Steelers
I will give you a hint he isn't related to Karen.

I think it would be more familiarity with playing against their offense in the preseason… both he and Walker are new to our system so maybe they were thinking he would be better in coverage against a team he used to practice against
