Here's my attempt at a mock that will likely get blown away with a bunch of trades. I did not try to predict any because it's just too hard. I tried to match players to teams but mostly to draft position of about where i think they will go.

1. Tampa Bay - Jameis Winston QB - Florida State

2. Tennessee - Marcus Mariotta - QB Oregon - big possibility for a trade but it seems whoever picks 2 is getting Mariotta.

3. Jacksonville - Dante Fowler DE/OLB Florida - i can see them going WR here because the offense is bad, but Allen Robinson looked good before injury, Rookie Allen Hurns was also very good. They have Marqise Lee also. I think that's enough that they can push off WR until later. I think they go for the impact pass rusher which they desperately need. It also helps he's a local kid that can help sell tickets.

4. Oakland - Leonard Williams DT USC - Just like JAx, WR could be the pick but they signed Crabtree, so i think they push WR until later. Williams gives an inside presence to pair with Khalil Mack

5. REDSKINS - Vic Beasley DE/LB Clemson - Replacement for the oft injured Orakpo.

6. NY Jets - Amari Cooper WR Alabama - Jets need playmakers. They traded for Brandon Marshall but he's not as explosive as he used to be. Decker is also a possession guy. I can see this pick being Kevin White because he may be the more explosive player, but Cooper is more polished and the Jets need a guy to play immediately.

7. Chicago - Kevin White WR West Virginia - Bears love the big WRs who can jump. They replace Brandon Marshall here to give Bears a scary passing attack.

8. Atlanta - Bud Dupree DE Kentucky - Falcons need a pass rusher. Dupree is the best 4-3 DE prospect.

9. NY Giants - Andrus Peat OT Stanford - Giants have a terrible OL. Peat is a Giants type OL. They may go Scherff here but he may end up at G and Giants go for the OT.

10. St Louis - Todd GUrley RB Georgia - Rams need to get the offense going. If White or Cooper are available they can be the pick, but with them off the board, Gurley could be the guy to ignite the offense. Take some weight off the QB. Tre Mason makes a great combo with Gurley.

11. Minnesota - Devante Parker WR Louisville - Bridgewater needs weapons. Mike Wallace is a 1 trick pony and Cordarelle Patterson is dumb as a stump and can't learn the plays. Bridgewater knows Parker. Parker fits great with Wallace, and as the #3 WR, you can just tell Patterson to run that way real fast and he'll make some plays.

12. Cleveland - Danny Shelton DT - this is a god pick so i struggled giving it to them. Browns need an inside presence. Phil Taylor can't stay healthy.

13. New Orleans - Trae Waynes CB Michigan St - impulse will be to take a WR but the depth at WR lets them land the top CB here.

14. Miami - Breshad Perriman WR Central Florida - Mike Wallace didn't work out. Jarvis Landry is a possession guy. Perriman is their second shot at a deep WR.

15.San Francisco - Arik Armstead DE Oregon - big and athletic. Need a heir apparent to Justin SMith.

16. Houston - Brandon Scherff T/G Iowa - the WR will be tempting but O'Brien is usd to working with spare parts from New England. They can add WR later. Here they get possibly the best OL in the draft.

17. San Diego - Ereck Flowers OT Miami - if they are sticking with Rivers, then King Dunlap can use an upgrade at T. Flowers may have most upside os the OT prospects.

18. Kansas City - Jake Fisher OT Oregon - WHAT? I'm going out on a limb here based on Andy Reid's history. He likes to use top picks on OL and DL. He sees WRs as interchangable and they signed Maclin from Philly. Fisher is athletic and may be able to play LT. Former first overall pick Eric Fischer has been disappointing.

19. Cleveland - Jaelen Strong WR Arizona St - Browns badly need WR. Strong is a big target that crappy QBs can hit. Another good pick for the browns which means this probably won't happen.

20. Philadelphia - Byron Jones CB/S Connecticut - There's a good chance they trade up, but if they stay here, they need secondary. Kelly is a big analytics guy and JOnes pops with his metrics. Also, Kelly is a control freak who wants a bunch of yes men on his team. He got rid of Shady for having an opinion. Jones is a yes sir kind of guy that Kelly needs.

21. Cincinnati - Landon Collins SS Alabama - They want to match up with the Steelers so they need secondary help and somebody who can play in the box to stop Le'Veon Bell.

22. PITTSBURGH - Kevin Johnson CB Wake Forest - Colbert said OLB was deep. To me that was code for , we're waiting until Rd 2 unless a particular guy falls. Peters may be better but he also may not even be on the Steelers board due to being kicked off his college team. Steelers seem to have given Johnson a long look.

23. Detroit - Marcus Peters CB Washington - I can see DT Malcolm Brown being the pick here to replace Suh inside, but they signed Ngata from Balt. They need to compete with Green Bay and need DBs to do it.

24. Arizona - Jalen Collins CB LSU - athletic and raw but add him to Patrick Peterson and they could have a top secondary. I can see Melvin Gordon going here but Collins seems too good to pass here.

25. Carolina - DJ Humphries OT Florida - They can use more weapons but with WR being deep, they upgrade the OL here.

26. Baltimore - Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin - Ravens want a complete back like thyey had with Ray Rice. They could pull the trigger on Gregory here.

27. Dallas - PJ Williams CB Florida St - Cowboys have been missing on CB for years. SOmebody has to cover Odell Beckham.

28. Denver - Cameron Erving - OT Florida St - as long as they have Manning, they better protect him. Erving could give them nice bookends at OT. Don't think you draft Gregory to play in Colorado whre weed is legal.

29. Indianapolis - Damarious Randall FS - Colts need all the defense they can get. I don;t think they've given up in Bjorn Werner yet so they go secondary over DL. Randall could be the Ed Reed type Pagano had in Balt.

30. Green Bay - Malcolm Brown DT Texas - BJ Raji is alway injured. Brown is versatile and can play DE for them if Raji is healthy.

31. New Orleans - Randy Gregory DE/OLB Nebraska - Saints need defense badly and this is a possible steal with Gregory.

32. New England - Eddie Goldman DE/DT Florida St - Belichick loves big defensive players. He replaces Vince Wilfork.

Passed Over

Shane Ray - He's small and this toe injury seems to be significant.

La'El Collins - he's a G not a T, and he's now involved in a possible murder? How can you pull the trigger on him in the first?

Wildcards

Dorial Green Beckham WR MIssouri - he's a 6'4 physical freak with off field issues. Very raw. Some team could roll the dice on his upside. A team that already has a #1 and can afford a long learning curve could jump on him.

Phillip Dorsett WR Miami - blazing fast. COuld a team like New Orleans or Philly overlook other needs for that speed?

Tevin Coleman RB Indiana - big play RB who was injured and had late workouts for teams. A team could fall in love with that big play potential, maybe the Cowboys.

Nice job, Tape. Personally, I prefer Marcus Peters over Kevin Johnson.

Coryea is somewhere pondering about peters & johnsons too....

I think it is if the Steelers are comfy take a risk on a character risk in 1.................for Peters.....................usually they stay clear until well round 2 lulz.

I think Kevin Johnson is the pick also - assuming he is there and assuming no surprises fall in our lap. I say NO to Gregory but would say yes to Peters.

I think Peters is better but i have a feeling the Steelers take<code> Johnson.

Here are their measurables spider graphs. The website that hosts these is probably swamped today so it may not load.

I am still not feeling all the Mariotta love. I get that he is a physical freak for the position but he looks to several years away from playing in an NFL offense.

I suppose if he goes to the Eagles he could have success early but he will be broken by year 3.

If the Steelers take Johnson over Peters, I will trust their judgement of character. Not sure they'd pass on Shane Ray, though. Seems like a guy Tomlin would fall in love with and seems like a guy who could develop into a defensive leader.

From what I've been able to gather I think Johnson is the pick as well if he is there. I'd be shocked if Gregory fell far enough for them to even sniff him.
