Watt should have been NFL Defensive MVP in 2019. I have been paying more attention to Watt lately to see what makes him so special. While he is strong and has a decent speed rush, he's really not elite in either area.

What makes him so special then? His hands, and how he uses them, combined balance and motor few have. He's super smart and alert too. The guy is textbook, and studies the other player he goes up against, then uses his own version of football jiu jitsu to beat him.

Someone asked who is the best Steeler linebacker ever? A very difficult queison to answer. In the past 32 games Watt has the following:

30 sacks
3 interceptions
14 forced fumbles
13 passes defended

I could be wrong, but I don't think ANY Steeler linebacker can match that production over a portion of his career in 32 consecutive games played. Maybe Lambert from 1979-1982 due to his high INT total.

I had a hard time leaving Watt off of my top 10 LBs on the podcast. He's going to be an all time great especially if he starts winning DPOYs.
