Knew it was coming, but not because of a setback. I feel bad for him. What a great teammate and he was clutch for the Steelers. Good luck, Sushi!

Thank you for your service Mr. Suisham! I was a pleasure watching you bring a threat back in our kicking game.

Young Boswell, keep up the good work - the job is yours to lose now...

Suisham was a very good kicker for us. Who knew how tough it would be to replace him after he got hurt last year? I wish him the best in his recovery and moving forward in his career or post career.

Good luck Shawn and my the B & G be with you.

Salute the nation

He will be fine. No reason to be sad. He probably has a nice eggnest stashed away.

Players play, and then they retire. He had a decent run. He wasn't gonna beat the young kid out any how.

He was a solid kicker. The team needed him last year. I'm very glad Boswell stepped in late and gave Pittsburgh a kicking game because it was a train wreck there for awhile.

I wish him the very best. He has my faithful support and thanks as a fan.

He was a solid kicker, but his lack of range beyond 50 yards was an issue at times. Boswell is better, and Suisham exits the game with no upper body injuries. I felt the Steelers overpaid him a tad.

Thanks Sushi! Never had nerves on end when you kicked. Still remember you wanting to fight the Ravens in 2014. Lol

You mean you don't miss this guy?

Boswell is as good or slightly better and for less money. Too bad he got hurt though but I wish him well.

I will miss Sushi and remember him fondly for each and every kick he attempted under 50 yards.

As a post June 1st cut/retiree, The Steelers save $2.4M in cap space this year, even after factoring in his $1.1M Dead money hit. Next year he will count $2.2M against the cap for Dead money and will be completely off the books after next season.

**** luck. Trying to make a tackle in the most meaningless of games. The HOF game.

You said it. ****** way to go out. Props to Sushi, and here's to continued success for Boz.
