Steelers vs. Rams Prediction Thread.

Who can predict anything with the steelers this year? Especially against the Rams who have also been erratic.

The Pats really did give the blueprint on stopping the Rams offense. People think they are this wide open and complex offense but it's really pretty simple. It would have to be for Jared Goof to play in it.

The Rams are a running team. Their whole offense is that outside zone run and if you take that away it throws a wrench in the whole offense. The Pats just put 5 guys at the LOS and didn't let the Rams run wide. The Steelers should be able to do the same.

But the Pats didn't have to defend Kupp in the slot. I think the steelers can defend the Rams run game but will Kupp kill them in the slot? The Steelers still get beat over the middle, even with the additions of Bush and Fitz. The Colts did it last week too.

What concerns me is the steelers offense. The WRs are not getting open. Last week was almost all vertical routes from WRs and then RBs underneath.

Every week, i watch teams complete easy passes on slants and drags and digs over the middle but not the steelers. I don't get it.

I think the Steeler defense will play good vs the run and get some INTs from Goof who is awful when pressured.

They should have Sutton on Kupp. Have Bush sideline to sideline against their run, his speed to the ball is his strength.

Watt will need to have a strong game against a team prone to turnovers.

On O Rudolph just needs to be accurate. If you are going to run, run Edmunds. If you want to pass play Jaysam.

I just do not like the how the Steelers match up in this game, especially on offense.

Also, McVay has had an extra week to prepare for the Steelers defense. Not good, given the vulnerabilities they have shown over the middle of field.

Rams 34-21. Steelers fall another game behind the Rats.

Defense does enough to win, offense doesn't.

19-10 Rams

ram beat down the steelers 32- 13

Steelers 17
Rams 13

Boom. Steelhurt wins with a point differential of 1.

Small ball ground control offense, no turnovers, TOP keeps them off the field and defense shining again with at least two strip sack turnovers of their own

Steelers.

Got my strip sack fumbles!, all good, lol
