STEELERS VS CHARGERS ............ GAME THREAD

After the Bengals game Rodney Harrison said something like " They need to simplify the defense. You could see guys yelling at each other trying to figure out what to do."

5 minutes ago he's asked " Do the Steelers need to simplify their defense tonight?" His answer...lol... went something like" No, if these guys can't run the defense what are they doing out there?"

Then Dungy said something about them stopping the Bengals(edit: I meant Colts) with the cover 2 they ran and they would be fine, and Harrison jumps in and says " Because they can't play man. Herbert is going to take advantage of that."

Make up your mind dude.

I have no idea what they see in him. He's always unprepared and acts like he doesn't want to be there. No personality at all. He's a di*k.

Hey Rodney, what should the steelers defense do tonight?

First you get your code breaker to steal their signals, then you can have a bunch of mediocre talents on defense play like pro bowlers because it's easy to be in position when you know what play's coming.

Anything else?

Yeah, I'd kneecap Justin Herbert too.

The Pittsburgh Steelers face the Los Angeles Chargers in a pivotal Week 10 Sunday Night Football matchup at SoFi Stadium, with both teams entering the game with 5-3 records and playoff implications on the line. The game is expected to be a clash of strengths, particularly in the turnover battle, as the Steelers rank second in the NFL for forced turnovers and first in fumbles forced, while the Chargers are tied for sixth in interceptions thrown and tied for tenth in fumbles lost. The Chargers' offensive line is severely depleted, missing starting tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, both lost to season-ending injuries, creating a significant advantage for the Steelers' pass rush.

  • Chargers Strength: Desperation
The Chargers are in a critical position, sitting second in the AFC West, and a loss could shift momentum toward the Kansas City Chiefs, who are on a bye. This desperation could fuel extra effort from the team, especially given their recent resilience despite injuries.
  • Steelers Strength: Turnovers
The Steelers' defense is a major strength, leading the league in forced fumbles and ranking sixth in interceptions. Their ability to create turnovers has been key to their 5-3 record, giving them a significant edge in field position and game control.
  • Chargers Weakness: Turnovers
The Chargers' offensive struggles with ball security are a major concern. They are tied for sixth in interceptions thrown and tied for tenth in fumbles lost, while their defense ranks near the bottom in recovering turnovers, making the turnover battle a decisive factor.
  • Steelers Weakness: Offense
The Steelers' offense is among the worst in the league, ranking 28th in first downs, 30th in rushing yards, and 28th in rushing yards per attempt. Their offensive performance is heavily reliant on Aaron Rodgers' 17 touchdown passes, and they are in the bottom third of the league in plays ending in sacks, indicating struggles with protection and play execution.

Wow just wow, anyone watching the pregame? The NBC talking head bimbo mispronounced Rocky Bleier’s name.

The morons we have being paid to commentate now
I get that you can't know every player back to Knute Rockne or Otto Graham, but if you've never heard of the person ask one of the ex-jocks around you or broadcast research people. Talk about not being able to do the most basic of research.

Maybe I’m being picky, but they just did a nice little story on Rocky Blier and Tony Dungy at the end gives some kind words about being a teammate for 2 years at looks at Harrison expecting some comments and Harrison nods, says nothing and looks completely disinterested.

Yea, don’t like the guy.

He hates anything Steelers. He barely even recognized Snoop. He is a Steeler hater and Patriot Homer and has no business doing our games.
