Nice move by Colbert, though sucks he didn't pan out for us, injuries really held him back.

Article states the Bucs don't have a 7th round pick next year. Perhaps we got a 6th for him? Not bad for a guy who has never seen the field. Good job, Colbert!

Well it would be like a late 6th for a early sixth or a 7th for a 6th. But yeah to get anything for a never was... injury prone, not too shabby.

EDIT:

Just found this.

Steelers announced Hawkins trade.

Pittsburgh trades: Jerald Hawkins, 2021 7th
Tampa Bay trades: 2020 6th

Good value. Hawkins was going to be released outright otherwise.

Both picks involved in the trade are for the 2021 draft....

Alex made a error? Regardless a good trade...

A seventh round pick two seasons from now has the value of about two packs of Wrigleys gum right now lol

Still something for someone they planned to cut anyways. And remember they got AB with a 6th.

He was a turnstile on Thursday. He was one of the worst of the ridiculous line play late. This team will miss Munch a lot.

I approve. Hawkins was stiff and slow, and not very strong. Great move getting something for a guy the Steelers were going to cut.

So we give up our 7th and get a 6th. I'll take it.

15 posts about a 6th round pick are about 14 posts too many....
