He's a lazy and overrated player. This trade may energize him for a bit as he tries to prove his worth but I expect him to go back to his normal good but not great play. He should be a force with his talents but he rarely is.

Seattle has no other good pass rushers with Jarran Reed suspended for 6 games. The Steelers not having to face Jarran Reed is a much bigger deal than them facing Clowney

He is just another version of Jarvis Dupree.

They are paying him $16 million for this season alone. They can't sign him long term until the end of the season. They must have money to burn in Seattle.

Total underwhelming problem for the STEELERS, shaking.

Bring him on as he will be just a bump on the highway to seven.

Salute the nation

Texans are sure busy today.

Texans trades today:
* Jadeveon Clowney to Seattle for Jacob Martin, Barkevious Mingo and a 3rd round pick
* Two 1sts & a 2nd round pick to Miami for OT Laremy Tunsil and WR Kenny Stills
* OL Martinas Rankin to KC for RB Carlos Hyde
* 6th round pick to NE for DB Keion Crossen

Clowney is still riding rep for 1 play he made in college. 1. Dude's a lazy poser and Seattle will regret 16 mil.

No he isn't. Clowney was dominant in college. It was much more than one play. I've seen him triple teamed and I've seen him destroy double teams. He had 4.5 sacks against Clemon in death valley. He had 47 TFL with 24 sacks and 9 FF. He also had 7 passes defended. He was a beast in college. It was much more than just one play.
