This is a list of who I think should be resigned/extend and what free agents should be brought in.You can put your own list up or agree or disagree on the ones I have posted.

1 RT Bryan Bulaga- Bring him in and move Feiler inside. Bryan is a good pass and run blocker. (honorable mention Jack Conklin)

2 OLB Bud Dupree- I would prefer an aggressive quick sign without placing the tag on him. (honorable mention Jamie Collins)

3 QB Teddy Bridgewater- This ex pro bowler won his starts in relief of Brees. (honorable mention Andy Dalton/ Tannyhill if available) - Bridgewater might want to be a starter, Worthy keeping a eye on with Big Ben trying to rehab from a significant injury.

4 G/C BJ Finney - He is a Steelers fan per his draft outburst. I would think he would be a fairly easy resign.

5 Special teams.LB -Tyler Matakevich. Shouldn't be a hard resign. A vet minimum two year contract perhaps...

6 Convert BigBen's salary into a signing bonus.or extend him- This would help free up some much needed money.

7 Cut Chickillo and Foster.- Further freeing up some greenbacks. Feiler can take Fosters spot.

As far as the draft I am targeting NT and RB early. Maybe even adding a WR into the mix. And of course they will keep their restricted players, the ones that played significant snaps. I think they have to give Feiler at least a second round tender...

Not that I don't like your ideas but we don't have cap space to keep our own, even less to bring teddy B and Brian Bulaga

I like this and think they could free up cap space with what you mentioned. Also get rid of Mark Barron which should save some bucks plus we won’t have Mr. Tiny **** dead cap hit of 21 million I think.

And please no Vance McDonald who as we all know misses too much time for what he was making. Wonder who will be available at TE in F/A? Anyone know?

1 resign Bud.

Every thing else will fall into place.

Providing Ben is back.

Who would have thought this last year?

I am certainly not a Dupree fan by any stretch, but with him paired with TJ made the D go this year. I would not want to break that up. I am just concerned Dupree will get lazy after he gets the $$. We dont really have another good option though. For QBs I dont think Bridgewater is a good fit here I think he is a decent QB that will be starting somewhere. I think that he needs to have better skill players and system around him to be successful. I would like to have ryan fitzpatrick, but I think he will stay in miami or retire. I would like to see Lynch in our system, but the few games I had watched of him in Denver were really bad....Maybe the light will come on for Mason.....I would keep Vannett he is a good #2 TE, but we desperately need a reliable #1.

Good list slash

Here's one: what do the Bungles want for an injury riddled and unhappy AJ Green? Is he healthy? Would the Bungles take a 2nd rd pick? Would he sign a fairly priced extension with PIT to play for a contender??

Someone like him who strikes fear in a defense opens everything else up, assuming Ben is back

Green and Deanotea Johnson on the outside, JuJu back to the slot where he has excelled, Washington in for deep routes, Ben back, offense fixed

With BigBen freeing up money and Bud signing and not tagging and cutting Foster,Chickillo. A significant amount of money can be freed up. They can extend a few players as well. Every year fans think we can do nothing and every year they free up money. And even sign free agents. Three notable ones were signed last year.

Will Green be healthy? He had the lingering injury. Those medical concern players seem to more hot tub it than help. I thought about him but wouldn't invest a lot of money. I am thinking another team might be willing to pay more. There is other WRs available if we want to bring one in. But in the event they do want Green no need to give up draft capital he is a UFA.

My problem with giving up Barron is the Steelers are one injury away from needing him. They could always play with his money to lower the hit. But anyone miss any significant time you are back to a ILber not being able to cover. At worst Barron is a good rotational player. I would keep Vance too for the posters who mentioned him. I think if you cut players they need to be declining or you have better or equal options in the wings. This team has enough depth issues without blowing open new holes.

If they let McDonald go, they will try to resign Vannett and then probably draft a TE in the 2nd round if a good one is available.

They would definitely need to kick the tires on his health.

I see the Bengals might tag him, so that was why we might need to use draft capital on him.

I know this would be unsteeler like, but this year has shown me the window on being competitive is closing fast and when Ben is gone we'll almost half to suck to get the draft position we need to hope to replace him.

Not to be a jerk, but C'mon Slash. My 18 year old kid kept talking about Bridgewater. The guy will be exploring all starting options which means at minimum 15- 20 million dollars. Something similar to what Foles got in Jax. I showed him there will be at least 6 or 7 teams looking for a starting QB. There is one name floating around as a draft pick. Teddy will get a chance to start and we are currently 6million under. They will be cutting a couple guys. Either giving Dupree a risky contract (no thanks), or Taging him.(better idea). They better have a long term strategy. They will be dealing with Watt and Fitz soon enough. They better not strap themselves to bad contracts.

Which why I gave alternative options as well as keeping a eye on Bigen's status. What if his return is roadblocked by healing issues?I think he will be back. But I can't pretend that is 100% guaranteed, his return...

We are an estimated 6 million over the cap for next year that's with ABs 21 million off the books and not counting whatever JuJu gets and I'm not sure if the 2020 rookies are even factored into that. They will have trouble signing Dupree long term, which is why they'll almost have to tag him.

Possibly, hard to tell. Some sign easier than others...

At 5-years, $80 million, I'm just not into the idea of making Dupree the highest paid defender in our locker room. I think that throws EVERYTHING out of wack....

One good year shouldn't let you get to that position and sends a very bad message to the whole team.

Unless, you want to chalk it up as normal "progression" and he was a pretty good player from 2015-2018 and he was a good leader/worker that whole time and the coaches and locker room know that....

OvertheCap is projecting we get a 3rd round compensatory pick for Bell and that's it.

As Colbert has told us numerous times, he does not draft 5th rounders or later as "starters" and project them as special teams contributors or fighting to make the roster.

That means we will have four picks Colbert will be using to actually fill in roster spots:

2nd Round (around pick #53-55)
3rd Round Compensatory (around pick #100-#102)
4th Round Milami (around pick #108)
4th Round Pittsburgh (around pick #123)

Honestly, the 2nd rounder is the only pick you can "target" a specific player and you hope by the time your early picks in the 100's have some options of tempting players that have fallen and HAPPEN to be at positions of need.

For this reason, I really do expect the team to try an address almost all their holes via free agency this year. I don't know how much the can push salary cap dollars forward, but I would expect a LOT of renegotiations, cap casualties and bargain basement shopping.

I am very curious how Colbert and Co. pull this off this off-season. There is a LOT to do and not a lot of money to do it.
