Steelers this, that, and the other.

Awesome and I've not been this excited about an upcoming season in awhile. AMAZing how when negative leaves how much it re-opens our doors as Fans. I realize we could have a piss poor season and go no where but flip that coin and we could also have a 19-0 season as well. I'm in the band wagon regardless.

Oh I agree. Just the team aspect of it all, knowing this team is on a mission of cohesive unity. Knowing they upgraded the D from a player standpoint. Seeing the potential for the Wr group who may not be as top heavy but I see them as better depth wise than last year. The safeties like Cope mentioned get to play together both in their second year at the position. The RB depth is stronger. I am interested in how fast Layne and some other rookies can be on the come. If this camp doesn't excite a Steelers fan, nothing will.

hopefully shazier can sit with bud and watch film and encourage bud to develop a few new moves like a swim or twist just rather than bull rush.

Although the theme of the offseason will stay positive, when I see something not so great I have to give that attention to. Noticeable difference between Watt's heavy hand approach, and Bud's pattycake looking approach here. I will give Bud credit of course for grinding it out. Just wish he tried to strengthen those hands.

Will also say he did show improvement last year, and some players simply take a while to bloom. Maybe he continues that baby step towards that this year.

I think Bud works hard to get better, he's just a bit limited in what he can do in the way the Steelers are using him. The athletic talent is there, so why not try him out from different spots? Get him rushing the QB in new ways to take advantage of his strengths. They've invested a lot into him and are paying him a lot of money this year, find a way to maximize his talent.

Its not all there between the ears for him. He's obviously physically gifted but by no means is this a guy who is taking over a football game. He's consistently out of position on his pass rush, opening up running lanes for us to get gashed to the right.

People don't see the full game of BUD DUPREE as he gets way less credit than his play deserves. No one remembers the holding resulting in safety/ and several other holding calls that would have been sacks. He has disrupted plays and this year he will step it up then demand the big contract as per usual players do. Can't produce until contract year. I hope he has HUGE year, just for the record.
