I don’t think these 2 moves correlate.
Think we still had 1 open spot with Welschof counting toward the international player exemption.

Any I’m more than ok with Woods being release

What’s funny is I’ve been second guessing myself since they haven’t filled it.

NFL teams can have 16, but if they have an international pathway player they can be #17.
Julius Welschof is ours.

I’ve thought they would fill it with an ILB. they do, then they release a player. So add to my doubt.

But it sounds like they don’t correlate and that was all him asking for his release.
