Dupree would be interesting as many here don't feel he is worth anything. My concern is his HIGH number for this year. If he could be extended and lowered that number it might be worth a shot. Say maybe a 4.5 Mil a year, 3 year deal with 7.5mil signing bonus...........??


Course I always seem to low-ball so there is that.

Exactly you extend him to a lower number. Doesn't prevent you from drafting at the position if you feel the need.

Beat writers all seem to have Haden, Hargrave and Davis (in that order) in line for extensions. Finley and Hilton are the next tier....although Hilton’s I feel will be a modest contract. Nothing like what Al got. Bud being given the chance to prove it, unless by some miracle he takes a multi- year contract that pays him well below the 9 mil. Before the season starts.

I don't extend Dupree. Ola may beat him out this year. His salary is only guaranteed if he gets hurt or makes the Opening day roster.

Hilton should have been signed yesterday. Dude can ball and loves this team. He's practicing for free right now.

Haden and Davis should be targets. I also like Hargrave to get upped.
