Steelers Sign DB Lafayette Pitts

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Lafayette Pitts who turns 29 next month. This move comes after the Steelers lost DB DeMarkus Acy to a season-ending ACL injury.

We have signed DB Lafayette Pitts.

Pitts went undrafted in 2016 out of Pitt before he signed with the Miami Dolphins. He also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills. Pitts will look to make the 53-man roster come September.

I see this as kicking tires till you might find a good one. Yes, maybe camp body but to this individual he is working to make the 53 and competition is always a goood thing.
Will he make the 53......... time will tell and if so it will be for the betterment of the team.
