As for the cop that decided to start punching Kelly in the face because he was worried about the situation escalating with the crowd around. Wow ... bad idea and would assume that it violates police brutality laws. Do the cops not carry tasers in Pittsburgh.... The only thing less subtle than punching someone in the face repeatedly to subdue them is throwing gasoline on them and threatening to light a match.
This looks horrible all the way around from the threatening and the resistance all the way to how the police handled the situation.
Yeah there is no way they outright cut him for this ... if they did they will have the SJWs out in full force... sounds like a drunken stupid idiot doing dumb drunk guy stuff, but they are already getting riled up because a cop repeatedly punched him in the head...

Davis is on IR, he was not designated to return. He had surgery and hasn’t practiced since placed on IR.

the bummer is, it's fun to cheer for the underdog. He was an AAF guy, so I was pulling for him.
Choices have consequences. My guess is the coaching staff is no longer interested in knuckleheads. We've had more than our fill.
I don't frequent bars too often, never been a heavy drinker and it still amazes me how many people lose all their respect, status and job opportunities over the dumbest things for a night on the town.
Man, have a drink, don't be a dick and keep your hands to yourself. Enjoy some music, friends and good times and then go home in a taxi. Wash, rinse and repeat. Doesn't seem that hard to me
Don't approve of how the cops handled it either, but I was not there to see things transpire. I just know that if you don't want this **** in your life it is somehow possible to avoid it.

More than likely, this is the root of it. Unless someone is in your space, being a jagoff, alcohol is the contributing factor to this mess KK is now in. I'm in bars frequently playing music, have no more than 2 beers and that's my limit to get me home and out of any trouble. I don't think a 23 y.o. thinks that way or doesn't seem like it in this case.
I can't speak for the cop because he is trying to get the situation under control and Kelly is a big man that apparently was highly intoxicated. Not a good situation on a Thursday evening at Mario's.

Sorry am kameron , this is NOT Pittsburgh STEELERS behaivior and the team showed it by your cut. I like this approach as it makes an example, albeit by a low profile player but still an example none the less. After the meMEme twins I'm sure management including coaches are taking a harder line on dicipline.

Not by a long shot. Every team has arrests and Pittsburgh's record would show they are in the lower 1/2 of the league. It seems like way more because of all the headlines of the meMEme twins but none of that resulted in arrests. The organization is sending a message about behaivior by the imeadiate cut of said player.
