The Pittsburgh Steelers were looking for a rebound practice after Sunday's offensive disaster. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers could not find a consistent connection with anyone, especially young wideout Roman Wilson. It started to look like he would fall down the depth chart and get less reps, despite the injury to Calvin Austin III, who was named the 2nd starting wideout earlier in the offseason. Something needed to change quickly, whether it was motivation, football IQ, or something more physical. Monday was an off day, which could've helped the second-year receiver get in a good mental state.
