So many conflicting reports at where the Steelers are at with cap space, it is ridiculous.
 
Golden was a a big disappointment. No big loss. I do wish we find a solid safety and a replacement for Shazier

well they aren't going to go with just Davis, so some moves will need to be made one way or another. If I had to guess a S will get drafted and one brought in...........

Like you said, I do think they look for one in the draft. Sounds like Steelers don't have a lot of money to play with. They will look for a cheap alternative in the mean time.

they have enough to bring in 1 free agent.

And could free up more money to bring in another..........
 
Golden was a good special teamer and sub par in the defense. Good special teamers aren't all that hard to find fortunately.
 
eithier they will add shaziers replacement or a 2-3 starter via free whether its tre Boston, kenny vaccaro, or Preston brown, depends after winning a ring lets see how flexible Kendricks is in terms of pay cut..
 
So they throw these scrap heap players out and then look in the scrap heap for their replacements. Tomlin is brilliant.

Yep. He’s so brilliant he had Dan and his GM doing the same thing for 15 years before they hired him.

Golden was decent on special teams. I guess the Steelers are going to add at least two more safeties, either in the draft or free agency.
