By Brandon J. Wallace SteelerNation.com Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers released their initial depth chart for the upcoming 2018 NFL season. As there are several familiar faces set to make their return as starters including pro bowlers Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, and Maurkice Pouncey*to name a few, many were surprised to see players such as tight […]

Looks like all the rookies are at the bottom of the depth chart. Must be a post draft depth chart.

Still weird that they'd put JW behind 2 UDFAs though.

I also thought Watt and Dupree flipped. The Depth chart has them at their old positions.

That list is already blown out of the water and a waste of the paper it was printed on. I see nothing on there that makes very much sense other than the majority of the starters. Even then, Edmunds may push for starting reps and they have him listed last on the depth chart.

McDonald is listed as No. 1 but he has made, what, 1 damn practice. I'd rather just cut the china doll and give someone else a chance. I see no way he plays more than 5 or 6 games this season.

True dat. James has reportedly excelled in camp, improving in all areas. No way Toussaint beats out Samuels and they always leave the rookies out of contention till the preseason is under way...at least.

They do that just to screw with the people trying to pick the final 53.

How can you have an unsigned player on your depth chart. Technically until he signs the tag he isnt even on your roster.

Might as well put Dez Bryant as the 2nd WR....or third...maybe 4th but no more than 5th WR on the team.

The depth chart is a bit of a head scratcher, but will begin to get sorted out after Thursday night in Philly.

Game is scheduled on USTV for those out of the area.

It is scheduled for USTVNow, but Fox is now a pay channel, so unless you upgrade, you can't watch the game. Only CBS and NBC games are free now.

From what I can tell the depth chart was required by the league prior to the first PS game. I think they just lined it up by experience and or experience on the team. Ive read a couple things that have James Washington is the mvp of camp so far and he is last on his position list. Same with Edmunds.

Sorry Steeler Nation but where ever you got that depth chart from seems to be an OLDie. Maybe PRE-TRAINING camp but things have progressed. Thanks for all the great write ups along the way.
