The NFL has juggled the schedule to allow the Steelers and Titans to play this season after their game scheduled for Sunday had to be postponed.

The league announced today that the Steelers-Titans game that was postponed because of the Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak will now be played in Week Seven on Sunday, October 25. Week Seven had previously been the Titans’ bye week.

The Steelers had been scheduled to play the Ravens in Week Seven but will now play the Ravens in Week Eight. In the original schedule, Week Eight was both the Steelers’ and Ravens’ bye week. The Ravens’ bye is now Week Seven, and this week will be considered the Steelers’ and Titans’ bye.

Both Steelers-Titans and Steelers-Ravens are scheduled to take kick off at 1 p.m. ET and be televised on CBS.

Imagine have to wait wait a month to play with **** oh the cruel humanity of it all.

Just so I'm clear... The Titans are the ones who came down with the 'Rona, but it's the Steelers and Ravens who have to lose their bye week?

Are the Titans losing their bye week as well?

I wonder if there is a financial deal with players on this. They are paid to practice and play. The Steelers will not get a true bye week as they already prepared until Thursday to play this week and then they will practice starting Tuesday. So the week they might relax and take a break is now kinda gone.

This week is now the Titans bye

The Steelers lose a bye week as they practiced this week when they would have been off. Their bye will be this week.
The **** lose nothing - they did not practice this week and this will count as their bye.
The Ravens lose nothing. Their bye is moved from week 8 to week 7. In fact, the ravens now get a week off before their game with us which will now be week 8 so I would say that through all of this, the team that gains something is the Ravens.

That means they will be better prepared...While everyone else is on their ***, we were studying & honing our craft...

This will better serve us in the long run

So, through no fault of our own, the Ravens benefit from a bye right before playing us, and we play the Titans, got it. Our bye is now, when it’s too early to even help with healing and rest, got it.

Should have just added a Week 18 to accommodate games that will need to be rescheduled. Just push the playoffs back.

This is exactly right. There will be other games impacted and after byes have been burned, options limited. Some of the games would end up having no playoff implications by week 18 and could be cancelled at that point, too.

My buddy from B-More gave me the Steelers +5.5 in both games this year...

I guess I just have to wait a week longer to collect on the first one..

Curious as to what the bet was....................

But every game could have draft implications, or I suppose they could just draw straws. This has the potential of a major cluster ****.

I say test every player every day and if some come down with the 'Rona then bring some guys off the PS and play with who you got.

If you run out of players, like this one slow pitch softball league I use to play in, YOU can borrow up to TWO players from the opposing team................

Teams always can poach other teams practice squads. They already took two of ours.
