Baltimore’s team flight is leaving, game is still on, but the Ravens did have two more positive tests today, per sources.

It is thought to be one player, one staff, and in the words of one source “not unexpected and not a concern for the game.”

I will drop this here not to create a new thread...

Players were told of two new positives while on plane. The player practiced with team last 2 days.

The #Ravens learned of two more COVID-19 positives before they left for Pittsburgh, sources say. One player and one staffer. The NFL told the team these individuals were previously identified as potential positives and there was no concern for further spread
.

You got to be kidding me !

And to be clear, the #Ravens’ player and staffer who tested positive did not travel. No high-risk close contacts were identified, despite the player being at walkthrough, sources say. The team maintained distance at said walkthrough. All players and staff will be tested tomorrow.

Wait but the results won't be available before the game correct?

It's probably been said/asked before but at this point, why not push this game and other sure to be cancelled games out to the week after the last scheduled week. Then push the playoffs out an extra week. Add as many weeks as necessary. Hell the NHL had their Stanley Cup Final in late September. The NFL should make plans to keep pushing the season out if teams can't play rather than compressing it. No doubt about it now, a lot of these decisions are simply navigated from Las Vegas, not NY.

Rats are trying to do just that but the NFL is trying to avoid it,

Personally I'd rather see the two teams face off when they are both healthy and ready to go, then when we stomp them into next week, there are no excuses. And we won't have a quick turnaround to the next game, even though its against the Skins. Don't discount that game as the Steelers will be winded and you know how well we do historically against crap teams. Plus even though its "just the Skins", they will basically have no time to prepare to play against for them. I think most players and coaching staffs are wired to have at least 6 days to prepare for the next opponent.

What the **** else is the NFL going to say......... Other than the STEELERS forfeit due to being to ******* good.

little editing fer ya.

The NFL wants 2 things:
- Lamar v. Ben in Week 18. which leads to...
- Lamar v. Ben in Round 1.

Don't write the Washington Football Team off just yet. They are playing way better football than their record indicates. I think they are the 9th in defense which is formidable.

I've got full confidence in our guys but just letting it be known.

To enact week 18 the nfl will eliminate the pro bowl week bye and move everything but tge super bowl... moving that costs too much money. They won’t do it

They don’t want to do that cause it eliminates their playoffs contingencies in case of a playoff outbreak.

They won’t move the super bowl ....

Nice run by Snell, good cut back against the grain. Take that all day......

Do they have to get an agreement with the player’s union before they add an 18th week.

Probably but there might be some negotiation room since they would not be playing an extra game. Good point though.

DK reports the Ravens have 36 dressed, 8 ho have never played in an NFL game and that nobody playing today would have been out last night.

Time to put the week of shenanigan's behind us and win a football game. Sadly, I will not be able to watch.
