Steelers power ranking - 23rd

I am stuck between shows. I started watching the old twilight zones from the 60s. I remember a lot of them as a kid. I recommend. 36 episodes in season 1. can you imagine 36 episodes per year of something like Game of Thrones? wow
 
My power ranking. It's really complex...0-1-1. Notice the zero on the left. It sums up wins so far. The middle digit sums up how not to stop a passer. The last digit is an epic WTF.
 
I almost want us to suck this season. almost. we need major change. head coach change. if we have another good season but fail to do **** in the playoffs we will probs keep Tomlin. if we fail miserably for 1 year perhaps we cut ties...… we need a new coach before Ben retires..
 
Peeples, you’re new around these here parts. Most here couldn’t give a flying **** about rankings. Especially this early on in the season.
Also, you may want to cool it with Coolie. He’s a fellow Houstonian and I believe a moderator on this sight. He’s been known to provide vacations. Just ask Coach.

23rd is generous for a team without a defense. I like where the oddsmakers are goin' with this!

Power rankings are never going to be popular on this board. So no need to go all spelling police on posters.

Wins matter losses matter, power rankings? Only someone's ****** opinion on who is ranked where.

And it isn't like the Steelers deserve anything but criticism after last weeks **** sandwich.

Well there's only like 4 or 5 other winless teams so.. seems about right

Coolie doesn't ban people unless they violate board rules. Fortunately for most of you posting stupid ******* threads is not a board violation
 
We talk a ton of football here. Usually it's the Steelers, but it sure doesn't have to be. Love the football forum here. It makes me more knoledgeable when we talk college and other teams, league rules, NFLPA, the Draft, and drama. Oh the drama...
 
Rex ryan was recapping the chiefs game and he was showing our D dropping back into coverage and not touching their receivers. He said this is a Tampa Defense,,, he left out "Tampa 2" Id like to understand that better. I really don't know.. I guess I could google it. but A discussion a pros / cons vs our 3/4 tweak,, would be interesting and informative.

Well from my understanding it doesnt matter if you run a 3-4 or 4-3 or whatever. In the cover 2 the safeties cover the deep left and right. CB-right covers the flat, CB-left covers the other flat. Then you have whoever (in the 3-4 would be 2 LBs) cover the short / mid left and right zones and our MLB would cover the middle zone. This defense leaves several holes and if a team can recognize the coverage is pretty easy to pick apart. You can change who covers what area or who blitzes, but the weaknesses stay the same. I don't think even 2 lousy seasons will do that. Maybe after the second season with an 8-8 record or worst,Tomlin will be in the hot seat. But there's no way he's gone after ust one.
