Thomas Tull is a very smart man. He is the CEO of Legendary Entertainment where he’s produced several movies. Most notably the Dark Knight Rises, and The Dark Knight. His current net worth is reportedly over 1 billion dollars. He’s also part minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Obviously Tull has an interest in the […]

Thomas Tull gets it. Get him in on the owners meetings.

The league needs to roll back every single rule pre-instant replay days and leave well enough alone.

Then they need to get out of politics (although I don't see how they can. Everything is political these days.)

Finally (and this not the NFL's fault) they need to hire real sportscasters instead of former jocks to sit in the booth. Just because you played the game doesn't mean you know anything about it. Hell, Donavan McNabb played for 12 years and didn't even know you could end the game in a tie. And he's not the anomaly.

Anyway, that's what I think. I'm probably wrong. I usually am. Just ask my wife.

I believe I read he sold Legendary to some Asian company for a mountain of cash. Then he bought some massive organic food farm/ producer. But yeah the NFL definetly has an image problem. Hiring a liberal PR guy wasnt a good idea in the current political climate. I believe in free speech. But this thing is supposed to be a distraction that brings people together. Highlight work players are doing with law enforcement and inner city. One day I had no problem with in a show of unity. Ok. Its enough already.

I'm not sure how it compares to other NFL teams as it pertains to it, but the Steelers seem to have some really wealthy "minority owners."

In addition to Tull, there's also David Tepper, the great investor.

I think he has a good taLK of what to do but like the rest of the NFL............unable to implement it into the league. People are tired of hearing yes we need this or yes we need that, what people want to see is action and now. I'm thinking the NFL has lost a core group of fans / viewers and JUST won'[t get them back. Now they are on the verge of losing another wave of viewers and it's starting to hit the $$$$$$ belt.

Salute the nation

My impression is that while the Rooneys could buy or sell the average person compared to the mega rich they are small fish. They have wealthy silent partners who allow them to be the face of the franchise. Good move.
