do it we need a blocking back he knows the system and can play ST as well sign him and watt can re take once healthy
 
Well it IS RISKY...We dumped him because of injuries which linited him to just 3 games last year...The Colts released him Sept 1st....

The last few years we waited around for him to get healty and finally gave up...What has changed in his physical status?
 
I haven’t seen enough of watt to say whether he is better than Nix or not. I will say this, Nix, when healthy, was great for James Conner.
 
Weird thing about Indy's RB room. It is VASTLY different from ours.

We have 4 RBs and a FB with 5 total RBs.

Indy has 3 RBs and 0 FBs. They are not a team that utilizes a FB in the running game. Think of a Bruce Ariens offense.

So no, Nix was not utilized properly in Indy. As long as he doesn't have any lingering injury issues, I'd say he's a good bet to rejoin the Steelers this week.
